I cannot believe a so called chef roams around in the kitchen wearing a suit and to top it off carry a knife while playing with it. May I suggest that he carry a rattle so that he can make noise so that all the contestants and guinea pigs eating the food can run over to him and ask him what the matter is. God he likes attention. Shame on channel 5 do you not have any decent programmes to screen. God help us all.

Polo White Is supposed to be a high end chef. No chef would walk about a professional kitchen, waving a knife about like a demented knife thrower. This man is a complete and utter idiot, a legend in his own mind.

MARCO IS MY FAVOURITE CELEBRITY CHEF BUT I DIDN'T LIKE THE FORMAT. AS OTHERS HAVE SAID, WAVING THAT KNIFE AROUND AND WORSE STILL PUTTING IT INTO HIS MOUTH WAS FOOLHARDY TO SAY THE LEAST. HE IS A SHOWMAN, THAT CANNOT BE DENIED EVEN BY HIM, BUT HIS CONSTANT HARRASEMENT AND BELITTLING OF CONTESTANTS BECAME VERY SILLY AFTER A WHILE. ANYWAY, GOOD LUCK TO THOSE THAT DID GET THROUGH TO HIS FINAL 12. MARCO, YOU DON'T HAVE TO ACT SO SILLY, YOU ARE A GREAT CHEFAND ONE THAT DOESN'T NEED ALL THE SILLINESS TO MAKE A TV PROGRAMME, LEAVE THAT TO THE LIKES OF GORDON RAMSEY, PLEASE

knifes are not for children so I would suggest you don't teach them how to be carried and instead teach them not to touch :)

A big thank you to everyone that came down to Liverpool to support me and my daughter Gemma @ calypso caribbean restaurant in kitchen wars, the experience was just fantastic. Marco pier white made the day for us with his encouragement and true love of our soul food, maybe not the fine dining he was looking for but none the less he was impressed with the authentic taste of real Caribbean cooking. Yeah man!! It's a shame the weather let us down with the wind so we couldn't set our table out but it far from spoilt an unforgettable day and all our support from so many of our friends and family . We certainly had the loudest and biggest crowd of the day that had marco joining In,the interaction was just brilliant thank you David & all the staff @ calypso caribbean restaurant Ye Man !!

He is a master in his own right, as for the knives thing, knives are only as dangerous as the person carrying them. if children are taught to hold and use them properly then they learn from an early age that they can be dangerous if used incorrectly. I don't think he is egotistical, I think he has the confidence and knowledge to know what he's talking about therefore some may view this as arrogance.

Marco Pierre White = over inflated ego!, No consistency treating contestants, humilated one couple because they didn't have enough covers at their restaruant and was praising another couple who had less than the first. Also 2 chefs ran out of time and he let one through! The audience can only summice at what inducement was involved!

For all Marco's bombast, and on the street he was thoroughly pleasant (was there when filmed, and met him). THE irritation is the voice over - her pronounciation is AWFUL!!!!!!! Geraint, not a hard name to say. Llandaf, not impossible to say! IRKSOME. CHEAP PRODUCTION VALUES.

Dee Marco White has a great opinion of Marco White; he looks like a circus master cracking the whip (or knife) What a showman, It's a pity he doesn't try to bring the best out of the contestants instead of making stupid remarks and really hassling them. What do you think he would say if the contestants used Knorr Stock cubes?

Teaching children about how to carry and use knives safely seems pointless when you get people like this waving the knife around. Come on Marco....set a good example please.
