Team member Mike heads across the Channel to rescue baby golden-cheeked gibbon Mikado, who was born at a zoo in France and orphaned after birth. With his experience in hand-rearing, Mike will act as a surrogate for Mikado until he’s old enough to be put with a new foster mum - and is soon up to his knees in nappies and bottles.

Meanwhile, new arrival Fidget is proving he’s a match for the ladies as he settles into his new home, and there’s chaos at the chimp nursery when Sally's lot get their hands on some laundry.
