@ reallydoesn'tmatter Firstly, if Channel 5 are not obliged to offer this service, then why do they offer it? Secondly, it's not 'for free'. Companies pay for their advertisements to be included with the feed. There is no scrub feature that allows us to skip past the adverts so we have to watch them. And Channel 5, get the ReCaptCha sorted out. What letters are represented by the leaning tower of pisa beside a worm with an arrow for a tail beside a flag on a flagpole?

seriously people! firstly i think instead of complaining about the fact that it's not available instantly, you should think about the fact that Five are not obliged to provide a service for you all to watch the programmes you missed, especially for free! Secondly, you all complain when it's not up, then; when it is up, u complain about adverts...IF WE'RE NOT PAYING FOR IT, THEY'VE GOT TO MAKE THE MONEY TO RUN IT ALL SOMEHOW! Lastly i don't deny it's a bit of a pain when the programmes aren't up when you expect them, but honeslty, is it that much of a disaster?!

I'm lost ! Thought I'd watch this episode before I die ! Planned it the other day, Watching the programme that is not being dead if you see what I mean ! Just watched it , Not bad story line perhaps a bit pre-Dic ? but good none the less, Pity about waiting to watch it ,roll on 24...I'll put off my time to die until then, enjoy !!!

Demand 5 is shabby and a year behind. I got fed up with waiting for this episode and found a link on line that completes the series. Not only that, the story isn't complete until episode 1 of series 8. It's brilliant.

I don't mind watching some adverts to get to see NCIS, But when the feed is so slow compared to other broadcaster websites, and if the episode isn't made available at a regular time, it's easy to see why many folks choose 'those download sites' that are considered illegal. As for past episodes being unavailable... why host the details here? There are other sites with all this info and more, no need to clutter up the bandwidth. Some of us are on fixed download limits and we have to be choosy about what we watch.

Not only have i spent most of the day seeing that you had yet to update NCIS, but now when it has finally been updated its crashes 10mintues into the programme and then had to sit through the ever interesting advert to then discover that you are again having problems. Would you please sort this out. It has become incredibly annoying.

It's okay for people who are around tomorrow - but several of the people who have made comments so far won't be. Come on Demand 5 - either give us an update - or an explanation at least. VW I just put a perfectly decent comment up which was removed before it had even been approved! Look at some of the comments up here that SHOULD have removed. I said that it is pointless being rude and unpleasant if we are not able to access yesterday's episode if we missed it. It is annoying and frustrating because it is the penultimate one and I don't want to see 24 if I haven't seen 23. Let's hope we get see it soon.

@ MissV That sounds like a very poor excuse, in that when the eps become available, the airdate info on the right gets updated. Why not use that box to update viewers on the estimated time available? eg "This ep currently unavailable, please check back after 15:00". Or would this be way to simple???

The message from Demand 5 went up shortly after I phoned them to complain. I suggested they put it up to stop all the complaints and I also said they ought to pro-actively put something up the minute they knew there would be a delay. Was told the people who put up messages cant at night (so guess they dont have a night shift in the web site office :-)

This is ridiculous. It is not difficult to maintain a site such as this with the budget 'Demand Five' has. A few hours is acceptable, we all know that things can go wrong, but a 16 hour wait is unnacceptable. If Five isn't careful it's going to be left behind by the other broadcasters when it comes to the online domain, which is widely agreed to be on it's way to becoming the major media domain fairly soon. I appreciate the message from Demand Five, and am glad that we are being kept informed, but that doesn't remove the problem. Hoping for a quick resolution.

I personally congratulate Demand5 for the reply and getting the show on here as soon as they can. Whilst I am also frustrated by the delays from cable/satellite to online viewing it is worth noting that the BBC and Channel4 are all as bad. It always depends on the programme you wish to watch. Also, as far as I know the BBC is currently the only operator under investigation by the regulators for failing to provide 'on demand' programming within an acceptable time period.

A suggestion for Demand5: When you know a programme, esp a popular one like NCIS, is going to be delayed for more than half an hour; pre-emptively put up a notice here, and that way it will reduce the number of negative comments. :)
