The team are given the case of the murder of a retired colonel and all the evidence seems to point to his drug-addicted son, but there is no concrete proof.

Bringing the suspect, Nick, in for interrogation, Gibbs and DiNozza play good-cop-bad-cop, telling him that witnesses can place him near the crime scene at the time of the murder. But, after refusing the services of a lawyer, Nick insists he did not kill his father – he loved him. Seeking information about his history of drug use the team visit his therapist who she says that she does not think Nick is capable of murder.

However as team dig deeper, Gibbs begins to question Vance's motives after finding inconsistencies in an investigation that suggest that the accused teenage drug addict is innocent of murdering his father...

    I love NCIS and cant always watch it on tv so was so excited to be able to watch it on demand but what a nightmare it constantly freezes and thats if you can get it to play at all. sort it out channel 5 I expected better than this!

    last night at midnight this was working, but i was tired - now i want to watch it the next morning it's unavailable - go figure - i never have broadcast issues on my computer, so i have no idea what this can be about

    I had probs with freezing. Virgin was funnelling my broadband. Now with BT no problem

    Not a happy experience watching this program. Never had a problem before but after the 3 attempt over three days the program started to run but then it feezes every 30 seconds or so. Iplayer work fine. Can't we have channel 5 on iplayer?

    Why Oh Why do I bother?? Every time I come to channel 5 I have problems with everything freezing up. Please don't tell me my broadband is too slow I am an IT professional.

    each time I try to play it the adverts freeze when it still has 75 seconds to go before the actual program. Its not my broadband because no one else is using it, and bbc iplayer works fine. I have restarted my computer and it is still not working. I tried watching the mentalist on demand 5 as well and that doesnt work either! Very very annoying.

    I've watched (or attempted to watch) most of the episodes in this series, but this is the first time I've managed to get through a whole episode without it freezing up. Maybe because this time I watched mid-morning and it was less busy, or perhaps the IT people have been tweaking things behind the scenes, but fingers crossed it keeps up!

    Don`t know why your all complaining nothing wrong with the broadcast maybe you need to look at your broadband speed and your bandwidth cause if you have other family members using the internet then it is going to slow it down and thus not play the episode if you have a slow connection speed check before complaining

    There is something very odd going on with the audio for this episode. Lots of digital noise and burbling, random noises like car horns beeping, the accompanying music seems to be playing perfectly but the actual vocals keep coming and going?!?! I've just finished watching an episode of extraordinary people and that streamed perfectly so it must be something to do with this specific episode/file.

    the behind the program problem simply solved scroll up or down. i reported a problem last night and it did it to me twice and after the computer got a sad turned it off then rebooted and was fine.can,t complain to much as the programs always run fine but i could cook a roast dinner in the time it takes to get through the adverts. tonight every thing ran sweet as a nut

    Just watched this episode, as usual, on my laptop with BT broadband and, as usual, absolutely no problems. The "Report a problem" spot is not behind the programme. I think you people with problems need to sort out your own systems. There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of people catching up with Demand 5 and most are not having problems.

    isn't it amazing that the adverts work and the programmes don't! and the "report a problem" function can't be used because it is behind the programme. they can't be that inept by accident
