If you've been affected by Neighbours' epilepsy storyline, find details here of organisations able to provide support and further information.
Approximately 600,000 people in the UK have been diagnosed with epilepsy; this is equivalent to one in 103 people. On average there is one child in every primary school and five in every secondary school living with the condition.
Young Epilepsy aims to create better futures for young lives with epilepsy, and to raise awareness and understanding of the condition. The charity provides support and information for parents, children and young people, and training for professionals.
We send our thanks to the Neighbours team and Jordan Smith for highlighting this often misunderstood condition, and portraying the issues so many young people often face.
