Biography
Left orphaned when her mother Jill was killed in a road accident, Kate Ramsay has taken on the responsibility of keeping her family together and, through caring for younger siblings Harry and Sophie, has developed a maturity beyond her years, often putting others' needs before her own.
After the death of school mate Bridget, Kate tightened bonds with the Erinsborough teens, especially Donna and Declan, and for them turned out to be a constant source of advice and support. Kate also became Donna's fashion model and business associate, helping her with the launch of her 'shrugolero' empire.
Things started to look up when Kate's friendship with Declan turned into something more, but he struggled to manage his behaviour in the face of family drama and their relationship broke down. This freed her up for romance with dishy Detective Brennan, whom she met while making a false statement to protect Rebecca in the part she played in Paul's accident, a decision she later came to regret...

Would like to see Kate become best friends with Tash when Jade leaves. Kate and Tash have had some good scenes together working at Charlies. Tash will also need a good friend when Summer leaves.

@Naoimh, I think Mark's return would make for an interesting story There is so much more they could do with his storyline. It would be interesting to see everyone's reactions to his return, especially Kate. She really needs Mark back, we need to see the happy and fun Kate back like she was when she was with Mark. No one loved Kate like Mark did. They were perfect together. Would love for Callum to find out Mark is alive. Morgan Baker needs a big storyline, it's been a while now since all the Troy stuff.

I love Kate She Is Sooo Pretty . But i don't like the way she is trying to get with Kyle. >:( I think Jade And Kyle are perfect. And i hear Jade is going out of Neighbours I hope she doesn't because Kate & Kyle will go out and i dont't want them to go out together!!. :)

They should bring Mark back for Kate, they were a lovely couple and very well suited. Mark is Kate's true love. Mark's death is a cover up as part of his witness protection prgramme.

why are there always so many posts deleted? censorship of opinion should be a crime. i dont like how kates character is always changing. At the begining she was a committed dancer, so committed that she's not mentioned it in months!! at the start i wasn't sure but she was ok, now i can't stand the girl

sooner kate leaves ramsey street the better, i know soaps always have to have a character in there with nasty qualities for us to dislike but this selfish, sneaky, inconsistant character is doing my head in - come on neighbours script writers, i know she has a contract but do us a favour and write her out ASAP

@Samantha2012, Mark is still in witness protection, his death is just a cover story, so the cops who were targeting him can't go after him anymore. Hope mark returns, he and Kate were perfect together.
