With time running out, Paul ignores Kate’s warning and reveals to Priya the fact of Brennan's death. Although sympathetic, Priya stands firm, forcing Paul to turn to Noah once more. Noah’s appeal convinces Priya not to refer Kate’s case to the Victorian Institute of Teaching, but Kate's furious Paul used Brennan as an excuse, concerned that Sophie will find out.

When her fears are later realised, Kate tries to defend her decision, but Sophie’s rejection forces her to reconsider her life. Tired of always being the good girl but still getting nowhere, Kate quits teaching and turns her back on the past.

Worried that Summer will have second thoughts about re-sitting her Literature exam, Andrew checks in constantly from schoolies. Frustrated, Summer urges him to go and have some fun, but Andrew fears he may have had too much when he wakes up from a big night out with a tattoo of Summer’s name. Panicked Andrew tries to convince himself it will be okay, until he learns the tattoo doesn’t actually read as he thought.

    Kate needs some happiness in her life. Bring Mark back for her, as he;s not really dead, as it's just a cover for his witness protection. Kate and Mark are an adorable couple.

    '..Tired of always being the good girl but still getting nowhere' - what a load of rubbish, kate is no good girl, ever since she's been in the programme she's lied and manipulated. hopefully something will happen between jade and kyle as they're both interesting and likable characters

    I do think neighbours needs some new characters? I want Donna, ringo, Zeke and course the lovely Mark Brennan! Whowants Mark Brennan to come back? I do and I bet GillanH81 does. Kate is not a good girl but I think she thinks she is. Also who liks Sophie's new hair style? i think it is ok but is only a wig. I really hope Jade and Kyle get together. BRING BACK MARK BRENNAN!! He was well cute but so is Kyle.

    don't really understand why everyone on here is so obsessed with these 'mark brennan conspiracy' theories! ok he was a bit hot, but his character was nothing special, in my opinion we're much better off with Kyle. Really dont care if he comes back or not, its just not a big deal and not worth the constant comments, theyre the same every day! I agree with the other comments though, bring back the donna/dec/ringo/didge days, lol. know it cant happen but would be good to have a good friendship circle like that again

    Hoping the good news kate gets soon is that Mark is alive. That would definitely put a smile back on her face. Kate is so lost and chaotic without Mark at the moment.
