Connor to return to Ramsay Street

It may be six years since Patrick Harvey was breaking hearts on Neighbours, but the charismatic Irish-Australian actor has had no problem slipping back into the groove of Ramsay Street.
Patrick, who was one of the show’s biggest stars last decade, this week returned to his old stomping ground to reprise his role as lovable larrikin Connor O’Neill, which in 2003 won him a Logie Award for Best New Talent.
During his previous stint on the soap, many of Patrick’s scenes were shared with Ryan Moloney. The double act were housemates at Number 32, then a true bachelor pad fondly known as the House of Trouser. Connor was also famed for a rather unique sense of style.
'As soon as the wardrobe department pulled out the boxers and Hawaiian shirt, I was back in character,' jokes Patrick. 'However, it wasn’t until Ryan dropped his dacks in a scene that I knew I was home.'
Patrick's four-week guest role can be seen in Australia from late October and on Channel 5 in November.

Really great to hear he's coming back. One of my favorite characters from the 90's, plus which, he was Irish! "Erin go brach!"

it seems to be the theme in soaps these days. you don't stay dead for long. if there was no body then you can come back. they brought dirty den back from the dead in eastenders and harold came back from the dead in neighbours. he got washed away and all that was left was his glasses. their reasoning was he hit his head and got washed up somewhere else with no memory. so if you are ever in a soap and they kill you off make sure that they don't have a body to bury and then you can always come back!!

Angie yeah! Bring it on! And Janelle - can you imagine poor Sonia and the baby trapped between the bickering of the overbearing granny and proud aunty? Woo those actresses back!

James yes they did, this confirms one thing, the scriptwriters don't know what they are doing, unless of course the gift was sent from the other side, but I don't know that there are any shops there!

But didn't Toadie get a gift from Connor a while back, sent somewhere from the Far East confirming that he hadn't been buried. It will be interesting if the scriptwriters do something to acknowledge that Paul has a son from his marriage to Gail that is still alive.

Pauls son killed him, so he is dead, we saw him bury him, this a tad far fetched even for Neighbours. Are they going to bring other dead people back too?

We thought he was buried under Harolds Bush! Everytime he was weeding his garden we expected him to find Connor. Thought the story writers had forgotten where he was!
