Holly Hoyland to return to Ramsay Street

2013 has already seen a host of returning characters on Neighbours, and the second half of the year is shaping up to be just as eventful.

2013 has already seen a host of returning characters on Neighbours – Lucy Robinson, Steph Scully and Mark Brennan – and the second half of the year is shaping up to be just as eventful, with a surprise visit from one of the show’s youngest faces, Holly Hoyland.

Fans will recall that Holly Hoyland is the result of Karl Kennedy’s lurid affair with Izzy Hoyland. Last time the character was seen on Ramsay Street she was just a babe in arms, played by Chaya Broadmore.

Holly returns to Erinsborough as a precocious eight-year-old, played by talented musical theatre actress Lucinda Armstrong Hall, who most recently appeared on stage with Anthony Warlow in the Melbourne production of Annie.

While Holly can do no wrong by her doting father, Susan experiences another side of Karl’s little princess which will test the resolve of her step-mother.

See Lucinda make her Neighbours debut on Channel 5 next month.

@Annette, @Liz, Mark Brennan will be back on Neighbours in september (Aus), Oct (UK). He could be back permanently. Mark and Kate's storyline is far from over.

I was excited to hear Mark Brennan was coming back, and so very disappointed that he was back for such a short time. Can't believe Kate chose Mason over him. Would have thought his girlfriend would dump him, after he had gone back to Kate. They could have had a happy ending moving to Sydney to be near Sophie and Harry. Mark is a huge loss to Neighbours.

Well, if her mother is anything to go by, Holly should turn out to be nasty, spoiled little brat. She looks like one. Think I might watch Home & Away while she's on Neighbours.

Who cares if she's been SORASd at last some young ones back on Neighbours. Karl deserves to have his daughter back, high time Izzy shared.

I think it's caused by Soap opera rapid ageing syndrome where certain characters are made to be older than the should be.

Holly has never been seen on Ramsay Street, since she was born and raised in London.

Guy, my point was, she is an 8 year old, on the screen, when she should be a 6 year old, she is not playing a 6 year old, but an 8 year old.

I hope she is an 8 year old playing a 6 year old as she was born in 2007.

i can't believe it is 8 years ago since Holly was born, if fact Neighbours got their facts wrong, please see below, from Vikipedia. Holly Hoyland made her first screen appearance on 29 March 2007. She should be 6, not 8.
