John Orcsik guest stars as Erinsborough priest

One of Australia’s most accomplished actors, John Orcsik, is set to return to Ramsay Street in a more refined role as a Catholic priest presiding over the upcoming nuptials of Vanessa (Alin Sumarwata) and Lucas (Scott Major).

John, who starred in the Logie Award wining series Cop Shop, had a recurring guest role on Neighbours from 1998 to 2002 as Ron Kirk, the father of Drew (Dan Paris).

As Father Guidotti, John’s character is summoned by Vanessa’s overbearing mother, played by Carmelina Di Guglielmo, to provide guidance to the bride and groom.

'He is a pretty liberal minded priest, which is just as well considering what is about to transpire,' hints John.

John will be seen on-air in Australia next Wednesday (31 October and on 28 November in the UK.
