New Neighbour pledges havoc

Ramsay Street's residents had best be prepared for havoc and heartbreak as Orpheus Pledger joins the Neighbours cast as student Noah Parkin.

Orpheus Pledger joins Neighbours as Noah Parkin

Last week we brought you news of a dishy new doctor set to join Neighbours, but Dr Lawson (aka Ben Barner) won't be the only fresh face on Ramsay Street in the coming months.

In fact, the Erinsborough locals - and one in particular - had best start preparing themselves for heartbreak and havoc as 18-year-old Orpheus Pledger joins the cast as guest character Noah Parkin, a free-spirited, guitar-strumming student, new to Erinsborough High.

No stranger to the small screen, Orpheus has been starring in TV series and commercials ever since primary school  - and Neighbours' executive producer Susan Bower couldn't be happier about welcoming him to the soap. 'We are very excited about Noah; he is certainly different from our regular characters, and Orpheus fits the role perfectly,' she says. 'I can promise viewers they are going to love this storyline.'

Orpheus filmed his first scenes with Kaiya Jones (aka Sophie Ramsay) last week, with Australian viewers able to see him on-air from late July.
