Troy to return to Ramsay Street
After daring to rough up Ramsay Street icon Harold Bishop and taking on Toadie, Troy fled Erinsborough, never to be seen again - or so the locals thought.
Former Home and Away hottie Dieter Brummer is returning to Neighbours for a six-week guest role, reprising his character Troy Miller, the tormented ex-boyfriend of Sonya Mitchell and Callum Jones’s biological father.
Last year, after daring to rough up Ramsay Street icon Harold Bishop, taking on Toadie and terrorizing Sonya and Callum, Troy fled Erinsborough, never to be seen again - or so the locals thought.
Dieter, who is based in Sydney, returned to the Neighbours set this week, filming scenes with Eve Morey (Sonya Mitchell), Ryan Moloney (Toadie), Gemma Pranita (Jade Mitchell) and Morgan Baker (Callum Jones).
'I really enjoy being in Melbourne and while my character doesn’t receive much of a welcome, the cast made me feel at home,' jokes Dieter. 'I resumed by place in the Green Room like I had never left.'
Word on the street is Dieter’s storyline, which starts on-air in June in the UK, will be one of the most dramatic for 2012.

@Sally, Neighbours writer Pete McTighe said he would love to watch and write Mark's return storyline. So if we can persuade Neighbours to write Scott back into the show, then Pete will write the storyline. fans want it to happen.

Let's hope Mark's death is a cover up but hope he returns in the future. Well I have not seen anything that confirms Troy is Jade's ex but I hope you're right but it's bad continuity if Troy is the ex. We will wait and see :) x

@Sally, Mark's death is a COVER UP to keep him SAFE in WITNESS PROTECTION, he is not really dead. It's been confirmed Troy is Jade's ex.

Gillian, it would be a big twist if Troy is Sonya's ex. But I remember Jade wasn't that afraid of Troy. So I'm not sure yet. Also Mark Brennan is dead I'm afraid and there's no witness protection x

@Kieran, Toadie can have kids, he's not infertile, it's just going to take them longer to get pregnant. looks like Troy is also going to be Jade's abusive ex-boyfriend.

The credits will get updated after Michael leaves. The Kapoors, Rhys and upcoming character Vanessa Villante will be added. Audrey will also be removed and Kate & Sophie's new hairstyles will be updated aswell.

@Miraim, Neighbours have hinted on their facebook page that the Mark storylne is not over and that he may not be dead, which was pretty obvious from the start.

@Sophie, We knew Jade's ex would be arriving soon and they were casting her ex. Troy being Jade's ex is the only explanation why Troy would return. We know he can be violent, as he threatened Harold.

I agree Troy has a connection for Jades ex. Maybe the brother or friend of Troy - I doubt that Troy is the actual ex-boyfriend there would have been more scenes with Jade and Troy if so.

@jules, I never believed Brennan was dead for a second. Since Mark is in police protective custody, his death will have been faked to keep him safe. In episode 6198 it was all a set up for Toadie to hear the conversation between Mark's boss and colleague. The only said he was dead to stop Mark's corrupt colleages from going after him. Kate was only told, as it stops her from trying to contact Mark, so if she believed he was dead than Mark's position wouldn't be jepordised and he can get evidence to put the corrupt cops away, them he can return. Hope he does return, him and Kate were good together. PLEASE DO NOT DELETE COMMENT.

well worked out, gillian........and even though they brought up mark brennon's "death" again, he could still be alive. Why would the cops not want anyone to know about the fate of brennon, if he really was dead and buried? They could be faking his death to keep the corrupt cops off the scent.

My guess it Troy will also be Jade's abusive ex-boyfriend. Could be why Jade was opposed to Sonya dating Troy again. Maybe thats why Sonya didn't know about Jades ex, because Jade was keeping the fact she had also got a past with Troy.
