Watch out, Ramsay Street! There's a new boy in town. Yes, with the real-life drama of a sports injury forcing Chris Milligan to take a break from our screens, it's farewell Kyle (only for a while) and hello cousin Dane (played by Luke Pegler) - who is every bit as fun, not to mention easy on the eye.

And in his first week in Erinsborough there's no shortage of trouble, after his plans to call a halt to the shopping centre development see him give Summer a tip-off about a possible case of corruption within the local council. Summer's buoyed by the success of her story but, after asking Dane for details of his source, is dismayed to learn the allegations were false all along. After assuring Toadie that she has already broadcasted a retraction, Summer's rocked to discover that Paul has made her claims the basis for a front page news story.

Elsewhere, while Malcolm lets go of the idea of ever being with Jade after she gives him the brush-off, Rhys accuses her of being too afraid to pursue something real with Kyle. Off the back of his challenge, Jade is confronted by all the reasons she should be with Kyle, but ultimately decides to go for the emotionless 'safe' option: married Malcolm. This can't end well, surely?
