I find that if ti starts freezing straightaway, then it won't recover. You need to press ctrl + F5 to refresh the connection. Sometimes you need to do that two or three times, but soon as it starts ok without freezing, then it continues to be OK. It's like their load balancer can't cope and you need to keep refreshing until you get a good connection. A couple of times I've had to switch my router on and off,to get it to work, but soon as it starts to work ok, it's fine for the rest of the programme.

Completely unwatchable, simply feezes every 10 seconds - and my normal download speed is 16Meg so it's not that. Absolutely miserable performance

the freezing is definitely annoying, but not nearly as annoying as the CONSTANT advert for the Walking Dead!!! Once Upon a Time is a FAMILY show, and i watch the catch-up on-line with my son --- the Advert for Walking Dead was repeated on Every break on this episode and my poor son is liable to have nightmares as it wouldnt allow me to forward past the ad! Very upset (program shows at 8pm normally, so advert for Zombies is completely Out of Order!)

I can't watch this either online, it doesn't even get through the opening ads. FYI: Download speed is 6.4 Mbps, i5 2.8 GHz CPU, running Windows 7, So I really doubt it's my computer causing the problem

wot a load of crap this demand 5. It takes about 1 1/2 hrs to watch a 41 min show cos of it freezing all the time. It's bloody annoying can't u fix the problem you must have seen everybody elses comments & complaints.

it's one thing when the show itself freezes but in my case it's the ADVERTS that freeze so you can't watch the thing because compare the meerkat.com won't get off the screen!!! adverts are a nuisance! if it's a legal requirement make them as short as humanly possible

I wish I ididn't have to sit through 5 mins of ads every time I have to refresh the page (due to video freezing). I've given up on most other series on channel 5 because of this. I really love this series though, it's almost worth tearing my hair out for!

Polly C - the freezing is most likely being caused by Flashplayer. Later versions are very prone to freezing. If you uninstall Flasplayer, go onto Flashplayer site, and take a download of an earlier version, the problem will go away. Anything fom version 11 onwards will freeze so choose a version that is 10 point something.
