I have watched lots of 5 on demand & have never had a problem with frezing or streaming. Sorry for those who have, maybe recheck your download speed as this can effect streaming if it has to keep buffering to load more of the programe on a slow speed. Also make sure you have the latest updates. I use firefox on the laptop & google chrome desktop. I love this programe, such an adictive one to watch. Just wished I could speed past the annoying unwanted adverts.

this is a great programme and i love watchng it, but watching a 42 minute programme takes an hour because of the freezing.

I agree with all the complaints, over the past two episodes I have watched on here I have had to keep refreshing my page due to freezing. I have previously watched earlier episodes on a different website which have had less buffering issues. No disrespect to Channel 5 but I think something needs to be done, thanks!

Hi everyone who says they have trouble watching these episodes. I don't know if it would have anything to do with the browser you are using, but I have never had a problem watching anything on 5, including any of these episodes and I use Google Chrome. If you haven't got it, maybe try downloading it and using that instead. If you still have problems, then I don't know - could it be your laptop/computer? Anyway have a go.

I wonder if the advertisers are aware of the number of times they are being charged for their their adverts freezing and broken links. This is becoming frustrating and that they are now associated with a poor Demand 5 product. It rubs of

good episode. to be honest after all my attempts and wasted time over the last couple of days just the fact that it worked pleased me....until it froze 30 minutes in.....played a few seconds...froze..yada yada -_-

Your software dev team should be fired. Every week users complain of the freezing problem and every week it is still there. Nor do you state a fix date or make an apology. Shameful for any s/ware team to behave like that.

Why advertise an 'on demand' service when it is anything but on demand. You have invested in a good entertaining TV show that really caputres imagination and escapism. However you will find that the 'demand' for watching the show will diminish and many of your viewers will 'escape' as, if you miss an episode you are unable to 'catch up on demand' as it takes to long. Having encountered this problem on several occasions I no longer have the will to attempt to catch up as it wastes to much of my time. What a shame as I, like many others, have been really enjoying this series. You obviously do not heed or value your viewers!

That was great was in Rome so missed last weeks so glad i could catch up before tonight's episode. I had no problem watching it at all. BTW it is entirely possible my parents have black hair yet my older brother has Red am im blonde its just genetics (and yes we have DNA test to prove we are defiantly their kids lol)

While your this was loading again I ran a broadband speed test and out of three tests my lowest reading was 11.21 mb/s and yet it keeps stop starting. This is a clear indication the problem seems to be on your side, sort it out!

Have problems with these videos freezing every single time. I can't always watch it on TV because I work shifts and it's incredibly annoying to have so many problems trying to see the program. Wish it was also available on my Sony Bravia internet TV like other programs are.

Omg that is the best series out of the whole tv selection I love it!!!! I watch it every sunday and every week and it keeps getting better and better I hope they keep getting more series of this as it is amazing well done to the whole cast I hope one day I will be cast on it as an actress :)

the more that Emma does in the town has an effect, and the mayor loses some of the magic. my guess is that the bike rider is a real starnger, that has been able to get in because of emma helping H and G getting back with dad.they mentioned the no strangers ever in storybrook, twice in this episode. so there must be some link

It's great having something really different to watch, my take so far is that the queen and Rumble do know all but he warned that all magic has its price, the queen can not allow people to learn the truth because she will be banished or something similar, but good can not win which is why she was determined not to see the children and father get together, and thats also why she adopted Henry because he could ruin her, like the sheriff he was not in story book when the spell was cast. From the story so far if certain people interact in the correct way they start getting their memories back which is why the queen had to get rid of the huntsman,but still unsure how Henry knows all it could be a side effect of the magic, because it always has a price but then its a fairytale!! Has for Rumble he has his own agenda but I am hoping that their will be a twist and a 2nd series, good job to whoever wrote it because it's addictive once you get into it.

@Alice Mulinya. If Emma is the daughter of Snow and Charming it is possible for her to have blonde hair when both her parents have dark hair due to the way genetics work. Here comes the science part. Lets use H and h for hair colour genes. (H is dominant and h is recessive) if both parents are Hh then their hair will be dark even though they carry the blond gene. Any children will get half their genetic make-up from each parent so have a 1 in 4 chance of ending up with hh as the genes for hair colour and thus display the blond hair colouring. They have a 3/4 chance of displaying dark hair by ending up with either Hh or HH hair colour genes In my family, my mother and father both have dark hair. Myself and my younger brother both have black hair and yet my younger sister has blonde hair.

The wicked Queen was the one who cast the spell in the first place so she would know about the curse its everyone else who dol not kow about it the real mystery i think is that henry gets it the thing about the electricity ect for when the try to leave is all part of the curse its not far feched at all. its actually really clever!xx

lolz its simple the wicked queen cast the spell in the FIRST PLACE so she KNOWS about it i think that the real mystary is how henry figured it all out.and yes they do not exist.and the roads tarmac and electicity etc is not far feched its part of the curse like henry said lol :) ...we should get this by now if uve been following right from the begining i love this its my favourite show now EVER :D

So.. why if something terrible happens to anyone who leaves Storybook dosen't the Sheriff trick the Mayor into visiting the next town on a civic event. Plus, isn't the premise of this series supposed to be everyone who is in Storybook has no recollection of an existence before The Curse? In which case how did the Mayor know about the heart she crushed in the previous episode. Also if no one new ever arrived before the new sheriff, who has been delivery post, electricity, tarmac for the roads, fuel etc.. this is just too far fetched. But I will be watching again next week.

I have no problem apart from a 3 second delay in speech, which is trying, but not as bad as freezing. Other programs do freeze though, making it just impossible to watch. By the way, seems to me that it's people who belong in the original land who can come back. Emma, Henry as her son - and now this mysterious biker. Bet he's a baddie and a returnee rather than an incomer.

It is acting up for me too - you guys using the report issues link to the right? For some reason it doesnt always load the adverts first - everytime it misses them out on my PC it freezes the prog. and then it won't play it. Must be an error at their end. Never used to happen, only recently with me on here.

Since "strangers" can't come into Storybrooke, the guy on the bike has to be another fairy tale character who didn't get trapped in. The series is so amazing! It's incredible there's going to be a season 2, but don't you all just want the Evil Queen to be gone?!

watched episode 9 but it doesn't make sense when henry says to emma 'you're a stranger to come into storybrooke, the very first stranger, but then he knows and tells emma that 'i told you about your parents - you're living with your mum', in the next thing he says.-so then she isn't a stranger as he knows she belongs in storybrooke. - inconsistency here in what he's saying - otherwise love once upon a time
