@Gus yes, but that's no excuse in this case. The US has already had the ENTIRE season two of this show, the break now if before season three. So, Channel 5 can show season two whenever they like. Starting now.

@Davie75 its not channel5 that takes a break but the producers of the show, US TV shows shut down for their football season Was looking for it tonight but forgot it ended already, but at least Justified is due back soon to tied me over to next season

Just watched the last episode on mySky+ and can not wait for the next series. From start to finish its been top notch. The only downside was when Channel 5 decided to have a mid season break. Another top show by J.J. Abrams.

I've had the currently unavailable message too on several occasions when i've tried to watch via Google Chrome. so i've switched over to Internet Explorer when that's happened and it's played perfectly.

Excellent finish to the series. It's fresh and original, now I can't wait for season 2. However Demand 5 playback has been terrible, which has been unusual for me. This is the second programme I've caught up on today and it's the second that hasn't played properly. The video was jittery and it froze several times during playback. I made sure my laptop was up to date with Flash Player and a whole host of other things, restarted it but that didn't solve the problem. Demand 5 has been running for a while now and yet many people still have problems with it. Time to make a call to the BBC or ITV or Channel 4 as their setups run very well. Sort it out Channel 5.

Ok...after almost 2 hours of the video stalling approximately every 40 seconds (and then pressing pause/play/pause/play for it to catch up again, I finally watched the whole episode. The adverts stuttered all the way through (every syllable) so your sponsors are probably not very happy. Next year? I'll try to play the first episode here and if I experience the same thing again, I will wait for the DVD to come out and never, ever return to Ch 5.

Steve Saslav agree with everyone: the series is great but downloading on 5od is seriously problematic. SUGGESTED SOLUTION FOR WHEN 5OD FREEZES: -open Person of Interest on a new tab -let the ads play [preferably on silent] till the show starts -on the progress bar below click and pull forward till the time when it froze -continue watching till it freezes again -repeat process till you finally get through. you don't need to do this, as soon as the ads start refresh your browser (mine is ffox) then press play and it plays with the ads but no freezing when the show starts after that. hope this helps, but 5 should sort this out tbh as opposed to us being shown the whole 4 mins + of ads then having to sit through them again.

worked fine for me & my b/band is rubbish atm, firstly ide check whether you have the most current shockwave flash player installed and updated, clear your caches and history Ccleaner is brilliant for this, next defragment your computers, also check your b/band speed this should also give you an idea of if your b/band drops out, (I know mine does and as a result there is an ever so slight stutter but it doesn't effect playback too much if you keep your computer clean and the programs up to date you should be getting hassle free playback

It is a shame that Demand 5 doesn't have an option to buffer the entire episode to make play back more stable. Great series though and I look forward to its return.

great finale I so many twists and turns in the storyline which add up excellently. It has developed into a great show and the added element of the AI big brother plot and good sci-fi and adds so many possibilties to the show. I think it has the potential to become a cult classic. It deserves more exposure and I think all the cast are brill. The dry sense of humour between reece and the others can be hilarious at times. Can't wait for it to be back and hope it goes on to bigger sucess. A superb show.

It's not often that something I watch has me on the edge of the sofa, but this end to season 1 was incredible. "Later in the year" for season 2 cannot come along soon enough.
