Channel 5 does not have the rights to show CSI Miami on demand5. So here's a thought . Why put it on the bleeding website then. I mean its the kind of thing you'd expect from a complete idiot...terrible....

I thought this was an on demand service. I'm logged in and want to catch up with Person of Interest, but I keep getting the message "This player is unable to play this protected content at this time" even though I'm logged in. Hopeless.

I have a suggestion, try watching at an off peak time or alternatively load it up, pause it and go off and do something else for maybe 30-60 minutes to give it time to buffer. Both these have worked for me. I find if I try to watch it in the evening (before 11pm) it won't play smoothly unless given plenty of time to buffer. I suspect the servers can't handle the number of people trying to access the episodes during peak times.

there seems to be no logic to when the videos play or don't play. I often have problems such as having to reboot several times, adverts playing and the programme buffering every two minutes. I've tried different browsers with no luck. However, today, Saturday at around 5pm I started watching - it took a couple of attempts to get the programme to start but once it did it played all the way through NON-STOP and with no adverts. Somebody find the logic in that!

I watch this using Firefox over Virgin big-fat internet. I watch on Sunday around lunch time. I have no problems with the streaming. Enjoyable hokum. If only "the Machine" was more scientifically plausible and less magical mcguffin.

Well, I have joined the plethora of people who cannot watch this show without problems (and I have a superfast broadband connection and other shows work fine, so that's certainly not the problem). In fact, even accessing the raw RTMP stream gives me problems. So many people cannot be wrong... Channel 5 - you get your revenue through advertising, and if people get fed up and don't watch it (and say buy the DVD), you lose viewers and potential revenue stream. As such, it is in your own interest to actually fix this mess and keep your viewers happy. That's if anyone at Channel 5 even bothers to read these and react to the problem report link (which yes I did complete as it happens). Shame too, as this is a really good series!

No HD, the stream pauses frequently (on Google Chrome anyway, which is the most popular browser I warn you) Sort it out!

Great Show!!! Reminds me a bit of Clint Eastwood! to those that can't view, happened to me. try reopening the browser, copy the link so you don't have to search for it again. I use Chrome, but works on firefox too. Just keep trying. Best things come...

Been trying to watch it for nearly 2 hours now. Only 16 minutes in though due to poor buffering which is completely ruining the episode.

As usual, gets so far through a program and freezes, tried having two tabs open as suggested but froze in both tabs. Absolute bag of rubbish demand 5, everytime on every pogram the same thing, hopefully other channels will get the rights to these programs who have some kind of customer satisfaction idea in place.

I feel really sorry for the people who are having problems watching Demand 5. I have had no problems with any programmes. My internet connection is through superfast fibre optic with BT. Maybe that's what it needs.

Great story yet again. Only thing about this that makes me wonder is whether any government could really resist the temptation not to use such a device as the machine for any sort of criminal detection. Playback was almost perfect!

I don't usually like the ooh this didnt work comments, it's always nice to read the comments about the programmes. usually cos it always works for me lolz! :D but sadly today it didnt :( today so far was a good ep and it was unavailable when it was coming to the end and 2 refreshes of my screen (with ads of course ho hum) no joy. When ever I read the coments very few are about what I have just watch and most are about poor service it is a real downer. It is not fair that 90% of viewers do not get to watch some great drama. Theses programms should be sold to other channels who value their viewers enough to put things right. I want to chat about how great the drama was or wasnt and not feel guilty for being able to watch it when others couldn't. A tip for other viewers if what your watching is sticking try NOT watching stuff on Chrome just keep Chrome for browsing and do your viewing on plain old Google.

Open up the same program in more then 1 tab. Mute the ones that stop and start. Guaranteed that one will run smoothly. Works everytime for me.

Adverts work fine! Episode is stop start stop start stop start..... really really really unbearable... No point in reporting the problem as you only get to watch the adverts all over again! FIVE does not allocate a fair bandwidth between adverts and main feature obviously. However, it works against the adverts as will boycott products when this happens.
