I love this show . Best thing on tv in along time . Can't wait for Tuesdays . Hope Channel 5 sign up for season 2 currently airing in the US . Intelligent AND got eye candy ( Jim Caviezel ) .

Had same issues with buffering, but only at peak evening times - 1hour to watch 12mins before giving up.Just watched this morning without a single freeze, viewing is 100%, but obviously a.m. doesn't suit everyone. Obviously some issues at Demand5 coping with demand, though an option to download and watch like BBC iPlayer would help with slow connections or only able to view at peak times.

This should be avalible on the C5 iphone app. Makes me want to stop watching C5 altogether because I keep missing the program's I want to see. If I'm not watching C5, I won't see the Adverts, that matter so much to this Channel.

For those having problems w/ Demand 5 Player: Try using Safari or Opera web browsers instead of IE or Chrome. Safari or Opera work for me when IE or Chrome keep crashing/stalling.

I love this programme and missed it this week so thought I'd watch it on the player. Can't seem to watch it or anything on channel 5 player which is a real shame! I watch loads of channel 4 on demand without problems so very disappointed. Channel 5 need to sort this out!!!!

Nope, tried three times. We have been able to watch the ads as usual, but the show won't run. Michaela, thanks for the effort, but I am already running on internet explorer and no joy. But I thought it was lovely of you to be really nice about it, instead of suggesting those of us not being able to watch it are morons, so good for you :) C5 PLEASE REUPLOAD THIS AWESOME SHOW PROPERLY SO WE CAN WATCH IT

Another bit of time wasted, thanks C5. Got through the ads twice, but program won't play. And thanks for the effort Billy, but this problem has been going on for a long time now - it never worked properly with Adobe Flashplayer versions 10 either. Every other catch up service and youtube run fine. Bottom line, C5 do not upload their programs properly. Hence the massive number of comments.

The most common reason for freezing is conflict in your adobe flashplayer with your browser. This is a problem that has arisen since version 11 onwards. Uninstall and then go back to a version with 10 point anything. Ensure you don't accept updates after that and the problem will go away.

It was freezing for me too, watching on my lap top I closed other programs I was running On different tabs it seemed to stop the freezing and ran perfectly.Don't know if it will work for you guys but that was my solution.

This is ridiculous the player won't play and it usually does even if it takes up to two hours to watch a programme thats an hour. Clearly this problem isn't effecting everyone that doesn't mean that people are makin a fuss over nothing. You would do something about it if you couldn't watch a programme you wanted to see.

This is certainly one of the best series around at the moment. I have to say that there was a bit of freeze during this programme, but I also have to say that this isn't something that's restricted to Demand 5 on this machine.

Never had any problems with C5 service. Not sure why so many people are having issues, working perfectly for me, i've watched many programmes on here over recent years never had any problems.

And Matt, please don't 'assume' that everyone here is an idiot. I watch catch on all the other channels an ONLY Ch5 acts like this. BBC iPlayer and Ch4 are always pristine. ITV Player is fine 90% of the time. Only Ch5 has consistent problems. People have been complaining for months, but they don't seem to do anything about it.

Well,after it wouldnt work on Chrome or Firefox, it FINALLY worke on IE9, although the auio 'sputtered' all he way through, which was irritatng At least the picture didn't freeze. Have to say, this episode is my favourite of his series so far.

Ok...it played for 3.37 min and then froze in Chrome. Cannot get it to play. Tried scrolling back and forth and refreshing but no joy. Why does this happen EVERY week? I'll try IE9 like someone else suggested.

another bit of wasted time, thanks to C5
Got through 8 minutes no trouble, then froze and will not run again. Have even rebooted computer. Usual poor service from C5. No, Gus, we are not moaners - simply people registering a valid complaint. Many of us find youtube, iPlayer, etc all run fine, but C5 at best sticks here and there and skips bits, and at worst doesn't run at all. Angelica is right, C5 needs a better way of uploading their vids.This is the worst catch up service around. Yep, just seen 20 minutes of show in one hour - rest of time freezing and trying to restart show. Youtube running fine. C5, please stop wasting people's time, and provide a service that runs properly.
