Featuring a hair-raising pursuit through the market town of Ripley which sees a driver mounting pavements, hitting cars and even colliding with an ambulance. Also, an Interceptor has a narrow escape when an out of control driver crashes into his car.

Elsewhere, a drunk driver goes for the world record in failed breathalyser tests and the helicopter is called in when a Land Rover driver decides to take a pursuit off-road.

    What annoys me about this programme is the constant need to undermine other Police Officers by making out they are the be all and end all because they are "highly trained". Hate to break this to Channel 5 but all cops are highly trained. These teams were never required and the amount of money spent on the cars could've saved front line cops. The Police car has not only recruited some of the wrong sort of cops but also caused crime to rise because some cops feel it's beneath them to walk the streets. The pure basics of Police work. Rant over.

    I enjoy watching this programme but it's a pity that the police waste such a huge amount of time stopping people for cannabis use, when they don't even have the resources to arrest real criminals. Using their valuable time in this way does them no favours whatsoever.
