Kelly comes to the rescue of a family whose kitchen has been a building site for three years.
In West Cheshunt, Teresa and Vince DiMartino have big ideas. They’ve already got a tiki bar in their Hertfordshire back garden, but they want something more. Their garage has become a junk store and they want to breathe some life into it. Can Kelly to come up with some ideas for transforming their suburban garage into a stylish, multifunctional living and socialising space?
Just to keep her on her toes, the DiMartinos have a couple of specific requests. They want a mafia-inspired bar for entertaining purposes, a bubble chair for their daughter Amy, a utility room and an interactive whiteboard for their son Michael.
To add to Kelly’s headaches, the budget is rather limited and Vince, a builder, wants to do all the work himself. Will she be able to tick all of the DiMartinos’ boxes? And is bringing a sense of style to a suburban garage beyond even Kelly’s capabilities?
