Just watched episode 5 - not my cup of tea however I am concerned as to where Saffron now keeps her clothes. Before the make over she had 3 wardrobes in her room - after the make over not one in sight. As an up and coming teenager this is a must (believe me I have my own).

Yes. I also entered the competition during tonight's programme,1st November 2011, only to see at next comp.screening that the small print said the lines closed at midday! What is going on? The call cost me at least £1.53 to enter and it seems that I have been ripped off by Channel 5. If that's the case I will never enter a C5 competition again. And I will send them the charge so I can be reimbursed.

Loved Kelly Hoppen's white top in this week's episode - any ideas where it's from?

The competition can be entered for a further 3 days by post I think, that may be why they still listed the details. Can anyone confirm, was the first line of the postal address 'HOME 1' ??

what an idiot Patrick Gillan is! these guys set the stand for gay parenting in the UK and in fact EUROPE. If it wasnt for these two men, gay parenting would have been set back another 20 years! when you were hiding in the closet, these two men were leading the way forward for gay rights! They have money to spend and spend it they should, its not like they have NOT worked hard for what they have! GREAT GREAT GREAT TV guys, cant wait to watch you lot in the next series lol maybe do the mens Bedroom this time lolol

Kelly, where does Saffron keep all her clothes now? There is no wardrobe space at all in her bedroom.

I studied Interior Design at University and although I admire Kelly Hoppen;s style, it's not what real interior design is about. Schoolgirl error in not providing any storage for Saffron's clothes etc. What Kelly did in this episode was room styling. Real interior design is all about measurements and calculations of dimensions. This programme is all about showcasing Kelly's style.

My irritation is the premise of the series is "style can be affordable". Completely outrageous budgets for the majority of people when most people are scrimping. Literally rubbing our noses in it. Oh well, i'll keep playing the lotto so I can be in next series.

Ref, "where does Saffron keep all her clothes now?" The remaing loft space behind the headboard of the bed deck was converted to wardrobe/storage - it's immense, and is accessed by double doors adjacent to the bed. Peter Lind & Company.

Re storage . Why didn't they mention this on the programme then? It certainly would've made sense.

Pity the poor person who has to carry all the clothes up to the storage space each time the laundry is done!

I agree. The room did look great, but allocation for storage is very important in a personal living space, and by not revealing it to the viewer implied that the designer had overlooked it.

i gotta say, best show yet!!!! just watched it on catch up funny funny funny and the room looked GREAT!!! LOVELY family and saffron was so nice! Her dads, especially Barrie were so funny. Tony is SO good looking! gotta agree with Barrie on the sofa so i have no taste too. The building firm used were fantastic, the job was perfection and i could only DREAM of giving my daughter such a lovely room. Great TV!!!! i think we are going to see these two on the TV some more over the next few years.

Oh God! How frustrating was it watching episode 5?! I feel so sorry for everyone in that family - they are slaves to Barrie's AWFUL mismatched sense of style! He has a whole house to ruin, I don't know why he couldn't just let Saf have her room how she wants it from the start - it's just ONE room!! I'm glad it all worked out in the end though and Saf now has a very cool place to chill out.

Wendy & Val, Saffron's clothes storage is under her mezzanine bed area - Kelly mentioned it at the start - that the space would be fully utilized!
