Enjoyed watching TGS for years. The format has undergone changes (some subtle) for years. That's only to be expected. However, not only is this format change a dramatic one, but the decision makers have not understood that we 'relate to' the presenters, as a team. Too much, too soon. Bring back Suzi, Otis, & John; then amend - not change the old format. Until then, it's not worth watching. BORING! Will checkout Gadget Geek!
Terrible, terrible, terrible. Old format needed tinkering with not bludgeoning with an axe. Jason acting like a 16 year old is annoying, Pollyanna is too superficial. Where are gadgets we can relate too? Why is the budget stretching to extended hols for production team? I've switched off, seems I'm not on my own. Watched the gadget show since the beginning , agree with almost everyone's points here.. Seems 95% or more hate the new format.. I hate it too especially the contrived pieces to camera ... Like those annoying programmes about 80's music where the music is interrupted constantly by idiots taking about the music , instead of letting us hear it. It's weird .. Weird .. Like Jason and Polly .. But hate this format and losing the othe presenters and banter .. I'm not averse to change though .. But good change .. Can't watch anymore ...
utter utter garbage, Channel 5 what have you done! this program now has absolutely no conection with the viewer and real life consumer. You have turned it in to nothing more than a super jolly for two presenters that think of themselves as something way above their station.
By removing the old team you have taken away the viewers connection with the program. It made the things that were tested interesting and most of all relavent.
Instead you have created an absolute turd of a program and like they say, no matter how hard you try you can't polish a turd.
I have watched the gadget show for years but now it has been deleted from my sky+ and you have lost a loyal viewer and also another possible entry into your competition.
Bring back John Otis and suzi and make a program that consumers can relate to by testing and reviewing things that they can actually buy in a manner that makes sense and by that i mean by not testing 3D TV's on the back of a boat in glaring sunlight wearing sunglasses! pathetic.
And you might get this viewer back.
They should bring back Jon Bentley and make it the format of Tomorrow's World - more reviews, less childish challenges. Love the picture quality - full HD at last and not frame-reduced upscaled SD! But, please, ditch the eye candy and make it a more serious Gadgets review show.
Really not keen on the new format. Watched two weeks now and it's just doesn't gel. Not enough info on the toys and toys no one wants, with pseudo documentary chunks.

It's just as well that Gadget Geeks on Sky is dull as the Gadget Show World Tour has taken a format that I liked and ruined things. I didn't like Ortis that much but he was better than Polly. Sure Jason has still got it but the show is not the same without Jon and Susie. Saving money on presenters and splashing out on grand locations doesn't do it for me.

OK, this was basically a stretched out version a segment in the normal show. It is a decent concept, and could work as a short side project to the regular show, but it is no replacement for the original. I like ALL the presenters, but would be gutted if Ortis, Jon and especially the delectable Suzi were no longer on our screens. Was anything announced at the recent live show? I hope that the regular show returns in the near future with the full team on board.
Wow, that was a pointless rehash of old episodes. Uninteresting, uninspired, zero technical information and (although Jason tried) theres nowhere near enough chemistry with the the very vapid Polly and Jason. Not going to bother with this season. If it returns to the old format I might try again otherwise Tekzilla is much much better.
Rubbish show, just a great oppotunity for some eye candy, Polly in costume rates a look anytime. But absolutely hate the new format. What will they do about Gadget Show Live 2013 without Suzi, Otis and Jon ???
I'll be back in 6 weeks to see if the others are back. If not, I'll check again next series. If they're still not back, then that's me and the Gadget Show over. Done. Kaput!

Preferred the old format, this format is like some cheap documentary just awful. Such a setup the whole thing not presenting just acting. Suzi was a main presenter should of been her over polly.
Them laptops they battered that apparently were used for production that were worth £40 each so old running xp just all made up hated it for that.
Boy, oh boy, oh boy, have Channel 5 made an almighty cock-up with The Gadget Show or what ! No doubt some smartarse executive on megabucks who thinks they know best ,decided this was a good thing to do without considering the public. Better to have spent the budget on HD recordings in the UK with Suzi, Jon, Ortis & Jason and properly reviewing tech that is readily available in the UK. I don't think I'm going to need to known how to make a fighting robot any time soon. I won't be watching the rest of the series. It was about the only Channel5 programme I watched.
Weird and strange format, didn't enjoy it. Also, why are we not being brought loads of tech reviews from all the lovely tech Japan has rather than stupid challenges. From 1 hour we were given a camcorder review, a modded car and a robot fight. GET BACK TO BEING A GADGET SHOW FROM TWO YEARS AGO AND STOP TRYING TO BE TOP GEAR!

Pollyanna is an awful presenter and Jason has become so annoying he's unwatchable! he's like a kid who's been let loose in a haribo factory. Where are the proper product reviews and gadgets?. Why the over the top and completely irrelevant challenges?. The whole format of this show is just wrong and whoever came up with it should be sacked!!.

Been watching it online, I've got to the second section of the show and cannot take anymore.
The single pieces to camera looked forced and are weird.
I miss the interaction that you got on the old show, having interaction between five presenters was great and full of energy, between two it is flat and boring.
I've had enough now and am stopping watching it. Never thought I'd get to this point on the Gadget show, I was an avid viewer who would not miss a single episode. I CANT WATCH THIS RUBBISH. I will not be tuning in again.
OMG this new format is absolutely terrible. I'm really upset tonight. I have watched every single episode of The Gadget Show since it started. It was my favourite programme on TV. I feel very depressed now. I don't have much happiness in my life at the moment and The Gadget Show was something I looked forward to every week. Channel 5 have ruined it. I really missed Suzi, Jon and Otis and really missed the studio banter, the challenges. EPIC FAIL CHANNEL 5 EPIC FAIL. I predict the viewing figures will drop like a stone and you will probably then axe the show altogether. I am so upset tonight.
They're so lucky to go to that Vocaloid concert... Here in the UK, we only got a showing of a replay of that concert. ;_; Oh well, at least they had fun.

You have ruined a really great TV show! The format of the show was far better the way it was; have you heard the saying "if it 'ain't broke don't fix it!" How about spending money on presenters instead of flights. I suppose that's why the competition is now £2 plus normal text fee! Bring back Suzi, Jon & Ortis. It is a sad day :(

Oh my gosh! Ty so much for featuring miku!! I've been a huge vocaloid fan since before the append series came out! I hope now that it's been featured on UK TV, the concerts will be brought over here to the UK for the 1000's of vocaloid fans here.

I was really looking forward to the new gadget show but i am thoroughly disappointed with the new format. First of all the theme tune is changed to something rubbish at the end of the last series, now its all rubbish... i imagine gadget show live wont happen next year then. it seems odd to me that the gadget show gets so big and then gets changed, such a shame! this is the biggest mistake since fox played firefly in the wrong order and dropped the series... EPIC FAIL
Have enjoyed the Gadget Show since 2004/2005 and have been looking forward to tonight's show for weeks...I just watched tonight's and I did not enjoy it. Miss the banter, sexual innuendo, G ratings, Jon's public school uncool but cool presenting, Ortis's reactions and of course affordable gadgets.
I tried to like it but I don't, I truly gutted.....
I commend them on trying something new, but why try to fix something that wasn't broke? The old format was more fun and exciting. I can only imagine they were loosing viewers and this is a desperate rescue package!
Jas your great but the new layout is very boring without the rest of the crew. Always watch it but won't be if it stays the same as this week. I am Knocking on 50 but still like the fun in the old style show and especially Suzi.

Rubbish show, just a great oppotunity for some eye candy, Polly in costume rates a look anytime. But absolutely hate the new format. What will they do about Gadget Show Live 2013 without Suzi, Otis and Jon ???

Pretty poor to be honest. Preferred the old format, this format is like some cheap documentary just awful. Such a setup the whole thing not presenting just acting. Suzi was a main presenter should of been her over polly. Them laptops they battered that apparently were used for production that were worth £40 each so old running xp just all made up hated it for that.

No doubt some smartarse executive on megabucks who thinks they know best ,decided this was a good thing to do without considering the public. New GS = EPIC fail. Better to have spent the budget on HD recordings in the UK with Suzi, Jon, Ortis & Jason and properly reviewing tech that is readily available in the UK. I don't think I'm going to need to known how to make a fighting robot any time soon. I won't be watching the rest of the series. It was about the only Channel5 programme I watched.

Weird and strange format, didn't enjoy it. Also, why are we not being brought loads of tech reviews from all the lovely tech Japan has rather than stupid challenges. From 1 hour we were given a camcorder review, a modded car and a robot fight. GET BACK TO BEING A GADGET SHOW FROM TWO YEARS AGO AND STOP TRYING TO BE TOP GEAR!

I think there was a massive budget cut to the show, but to say they've done a blair witch style Gadget Show it was ok, yeah we all miss the old presenters and format but change happens. Do agree with the fact there needs to be more gadget research less challanges

Also what happened to the rest of the team! All the good presenters have now been gone, except Jason of course. I cant believe i am saying this, but it was absolutely rubbish and there is no way unless some things get amended-(although it would probably be too late for that) that i would watch another episode of this series again!!!!!!!!! What a sad end for what previously was a great show.

Thoroughly disappointed that you've chosen the weakest presenters. Bring back Suzi and John, the glue that somehow made the five of them watchable.

RIP Gadget Show!! This is just embarrassing to watch, utter crap!. Pollyanna is an awful presenter and Jason has become so annoying he's unwatchable! he's like a kid who's been let loose in a haribo factory. Where are the proper product reviews and gadgets?. Why the over the top and completely irrelevant challenges?. The whole format of this show is just wrong and whoever came up with it should be sacked!!.

Been watching it online, I've got to the second section of the show and cannot take anymore. The single pieces to camera looked forced and are weird. I miss the interaction that you got on the old show, having interaction between five presenters was great and full of energy, between two it is flat and boring. I've had enough now and am stopping watching it. Never thought I'd get to this point on the Gadget show, I was an avid viewer who would not miss a single episode. I CANT WATCH THIS RUBBISH. I will not be tuning in again.

OMG this new format is absolutely terrible. I'm really upset tonight. I have watched every single episode of The Gadget Show since it started. It was my favourite programme on TV. I feel very depressed now. I don't have much happiness in my life at the moment and The Gadget Show was something I looked forward to every week. Channel 5 have ruined it. I really missed Suzi, Jon and Otis and really missed the studio banter, the challenges. EPIC FAIL CHANNEL 5 EPIC FAIL. I predict the viewing figures will drop like a stone and you will probably then axe the show altogether. I am so upset tonight.

I love Polly and Jason, but really miss Suzi, Otis, and Jon. Suzi was the face of Gadget Show, as far as I was concerned. Please bring them back, I miss the whole team. BTW, Polly looks great in this episode.

Loved the episode but that's because I'm obsessed with Japan, everything Japanese and gadgets. Let's face it Japan is where it's at! Can anyone tell me where I can buy the lovery car. What have you done channel 5? You have ruined a really great TV show! The format of the show was far better the way it was; have you heard the saying "if it 'ain't broke don't fix it!" How about spending money on presenters instead of flights. I suppose that's why the competition is now £2 plus normal text fee! Bring back Suzi, Jon & Ortis. It is a sad day :(

I hope now that it's been featured on UK TV, the concerts will be brought over here to the UK for the 1000's of vocaloid fans here. I was really looking forward to the new gadget show but i am thoroughly disappointed with the new format. First of all the theme tune is changed to something rubbish at the end of the last series, now its all rubbish... i imagine gadget show live wont happen next year then. it seems odd to me that the gadget show gets so big and then gets changed, such a shame! this is the biggest mistake since fox played firefly in the wrong order and dropped the series... EPIC FAIL

Have enjoyed the Gadget Show since 2004/2005 and have been looking forward to tonight's show for weeks...I just watched tonight's and I did not enjoy it. Miss the banter, sexual innuendo, G ratings, Jon's public school uncool but cool presenting, Ortis's reactions and of course affordable gadgets. I tried to like it but I don't, I truly gutted.....
