Very unfair evaluation for the solar cooker. It talked about the test was “taken in the desert where it was the best place to test as it was 40 degrees”? If a 10 year old child was asked - What do you need to be able to cook with the sun’s rays - they would know to say ‘The Sun’, as you can see from this video there is no blue sky. There was heavy haze and cloud cover when doing the test, there was not even enough sun to cause a shadow from either of them! As regards the “40 degrees’”, what is the advantage of that if there is no sunshine?? If the test has been done at the north pole “without clouds” it would have cooked the food no probs. They obviously weren’t wanting it to work as they were using “lambs brains” and wouldn’t have eaten it anyway. I have many different types of solar cookers and they work great! I thought the point of the show was to test items fairly?? They should do it again. (with the sun) - Peter Green Solutions N.I.

Fantastic show. However the prices you quote for things are a bit dodgey. Could you do a quick google to get a feel for the real prices that items are selling for. For example I googled: Olympus SZ-31MR which (I believe) you said is £230; the cheapest I found on the web was £250.
