Just read a comment regarding PPE, if referring to the powered bikes part I feel i must remind you that it is in fact the law to wear a helmet, Reflective clothing is not mandatory and neither are pads. so no, they should not if they do not feel the need to, wear the extra protection.

I cannot believe the level of whingeing about the delay in uploading episodes. Do you people really have nothing better to worry about? You act as if you have some sort of right to have the ability to view any program you want whenever you want it - laughable!

If this was any other show it would just be plain annoying but it's the lovely irony that it's the high tech gadget show that just can't sort out the tech. The license fee doesn't seem such a bad idea today :o)

If any other channels read this and want to cater for those who like me like to hear about the new developments in tech and you are able to upload there programme in less than 3 days and before the items appear on antiques roadshow then you have my vote and probably countless more !!!!

I'm starting a petition to get channel 5 to get their act together, whose with me in digging deep? So far i've got, barack obama, nelson mandela, chaz n dave and the guy from my kebab shop, i've been trying to ask my milkman but his PR spokesman said he was unavailable for comment, a bit like the channel five people really, anyway i thought how rude i'll get my milk from the supermarket in future!!! But you can still help and be heard.

I don't have a TV. I rely on the online players for the few shows worth bothering with and The Gadget Show is one of them. But to have to wait, so far, two full days after it was broadcast, not good.

ok now this is ridiculous its almost 1oclock on a wednes day and still no signs of this episode. i am not happy. since i the very beggining i have been a fan of this show and if channel 5 cant get there act together and post this video by the end of today then im coming down there with my friend satan the cause unimaginable disasters and also to wright a complaint.

I have to agree with the majority of peeps on here. It really does astonish me that channel 5 are the only on demand service that cant get their act together. And your blaming it on someone else....poor effort. This isnt a one off thing either. it's every week!!! I wish the show would move to bbc or channel 4, it's a brilliant show and deserves better. we only moan because we love it so much.

the gadget show was moved from Fridays back to Mondays because the viewing fingers were higher. But now, on demand 5 we are ending up watching it on Friday unlike all BBC programs

What's there to edit? The weekly competition? Yeah, like that will take long to do with Final Cut Pro. It isn't as if the programme wasn't in a prodiuction suite where that segment could be removed for "on demand" purposes.

Programme-makers are normally required to carry out a risk assessment before filming on location, and I know or a fact the BBC do undertake this, so I would expect Channel 5 would too. Ewan Keil, who has worked for the BBC, is a very experienced and professional producer (and all-round top bloke) and I am sure he would have ensured all risks were minimised. Bear in mind that these are carefully edited scenes and in the name of entertainment; we, as viewers, were not privy to the risk assessment work and planning in the background. But, in the name of Health and Safety and to set 'a good example,' yes, PPE should have been worn by the presenters where appropriate.
