Allie Gonino

Before landing the role of Laurel Mercer on The Lying Game, Allie Gonino appeared on a number of US TV shows, including eight episodes of 10 Things I Hate About You.

As well as being an accomplished actress, Allie is also a singer and musician and in 2010 she toured alongside Justin Bieber in girl band, The Stunners.

Now a member of "folk-Americana" act, The Good Mad, this multi-talented Texan plans to juggle both music and acting commitments in the future and admits that her dream is to appear in a Broadway musical.

Speaking to ELLEgirl, Allie described her character Laurel as "sarcastic... [with a] dry sense of humour" and the "sixteen [year-old] version" of herself.
