@Katie: The Volker storyline started in this season's episodes that aired before the 'Christmas' hiatus (see Episode 7 "If It Bleeds, It Leads"). The recapped scenes were to remind viewers of what promises to be a long-running new bad guy arc (although probably not as long-running as Red John). Again, Moderator, this is clearly not spam.

All the car ads freeze they are just too big for 5. I have reloaded the programme 4 times and am still not all theway through because the ads jam the programme. Please please fix it!

Hilarious: just watched a Revlon advert - still by still ahyahdooshu said the pretty actress (as her first word - it was STILL by STILL, urk urk urk!) Wow! That's how bad it is today, Demand 5. Your adverts are running slower than an old silent movie. Pls fix or give The Mentallist to a channel that can run it properly. Thanks!

Well, episode 10 wouldn't play. SILLY me thought episode 11 might play instead. Hahahaha! What fun! Of course it doesn't. Can't even play the first advert without freeezing. Then difficult to even log that the video won't play! USELESS, Demand 5. What is wrong with yr system?

I agree too many ad breaks in the wrong places tho given they have lost their main crime sponsor (was it DFS?) from before the 'Big Brother' break they have to get as many ad's in to make the £...

I reckon Tommy Volker is Red John. Lisbon wants to take down Volker. Jane wants to take down Red John. They'll eventually figure out that they are one and the same person. But who will get what they want, Lisbon or Jane? And will their friendship survive the inevitable showdown?
