If you're having problems viewing, just click the button to report it and then open it in a new tab. Easy. Might work better for some browsers (Firefox) than others.

I watch the Mentalist every week on-line and never have a problem. I too think that some people must have broadband connection issues.

I watch this every week along with just about every other programme on here whilst I work on my computer. Don't you guys think your problems are down to poor broadband/slow computers? I have NEVER (I promise) had a single freeze or such like.

The service is now utterly miserable. We have problems every week and it takes the pleasure out of watching the show. We'll either resort to watching it on the terrestrial channel or download it from some hooky site. Whichever option, demand.five loses another visitor. Is that what you really want?

I have a regular speed of 16 plus, and was fine til March, now keeps stopping as soon as 6pm arrives. Have tried opening multiple screens, can't find a 'gear' symbol as suggested...very disappointed...

Is the channel 5 website going to allow for the option to play videos using a HTML 5 player? Flash really sucks on my iPad!

Has anyone realised that nearly all the titles have the word red in or something associated the word red.

My download speed is currently over 11 megabits per second but I'm still having problems streaming from Demand Five. Even when it's a more typical 15Mb/s I have problems.

Unless you have virgin media cable access or BT infinity, you are dependent on the existing BT copper wire connection. This varies from area to area. All the others rent this access from BT. So changing makes no difference in speed or quality, just price. I have found that BBC iplayer tends to have the most problems. Something to do with the bandwidth required for their programs.

I love the social aspect of shows---it usually uplifts the depressing crimes involved!!! =^. .^=

why oh why are there so many introductions of elements of the characters' personal lifes. This should be a "whodunnit" pure and simple!!

Yeah... like tiggerspal1 said, I'm not from the stoneage and it's still hit and miss whether it'll play silly beggars or not. I bought my computer only a few months ago, so it's not that. And BBC iPlayer and (most of the time) ITV player works fine, it's only 5oD that I have trouble with. I just keep refreshing it until it works. It means I end up inadvertantly memorising the adverts but it works eventually. xD It's annoying, though.

They fixed the site long some time ago, it works on anything any time.. To people that it does't buffer 2 options: 1) Buy a modern computer for once. 2) Upgrade your dial-up internet. Basically if your not from stone age it will work for you :D *****

Another lovely episode, thanks, but why are the ad breaks getting longer and longer? 170 seconds is far too long during a catch-up service. I would deliberately not buy anything featured in an ad break that interrupts a programme for so long
