Want to make sure your meal out isn't followed by a big slice of humble pie? Follow Fernando's top tips for being a good customer and you'll be every restaurant owner's dream.
Hi, watching the program from Australia, I'm hooked. I am visiting the UK later in the year and I was wondering what review site Fernando uses at the beginning of each episode to get an idea on what people think about the restaurant he is about to work with.
lesley your bang on ,i own a restaurant and the most annoying thing is when someone says "you goy a table free" when no one in and you have to false laugh
Hi, like your programme and is giving my wife and I some good ideas as we are at the planning stage of starting a new restaurant up in Scotland as a local restaurant with simple food. Would you have any tips before we make the leap. many thanks
Love these tips, they are so true.
I would add one more tip, if the restaurant is quiet and it's say a monday night don't look round and sarcastically say 'have you got a table free?'
I really like his style, he doesn't make the people he's helping look stupid like ramsey used to do.
happened to watch this programme when it repeated on a sunday morning and instantly love it! bless the restaurant in Ramsgate and we will definitely go to visit 500 some time soon!
Well done!
500 on the Holloway Road is correct. It is a brilliant place run by passionate young restaurateurs. Open Sunday nights, which is when I like to go!

I found the tablecloths on-line but can't remember where. You will find it.
Sorry No. But I need to know was the London Italian restaurant featured the '500' on the Holloway Rd? I did not catch any name if mentioned but the surroundings looked familiar. Brilliant episode and as you say thoroughly enjoyable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show being in the trade myself, could someone tell me where the red spotty tablecloths came from in the Ramsgate episode.
I would be very grateful.
