Hershel forces Rick and Lori to make an agonising decision: he must perform the life-saving surgery on their son Carl without the necessary equipment if Carl is to have any chance.

Andrea and Daryl go out in search of the still-missing Sophia. They stumble upon an abandoned tent, encountering a hanging undead ‘walker’ in the process. Upon returning to the camp, Dale attempts to reconcile with Andrea by returning her handgun. Glenn and T-Dog journey to the Greene home and T-Dog receives medical treatment for blood poisoning.

At the high school, a trapped Shane and Otis split up after struggling against a horde of walkers. Both are injured and when they regroup it seems they are fast running out of options with ammunition running low and the undead in relentless pursuit.

Shane returns from the school with the medical supplies for Carl, but at what price?

    Interesting.I was asked to complete a questionnaire last week so five could better grasp why I use the service. My first thought was they're going to start charging. But this is even nastier. Makes no sense.

    I have missed two episodes and can't catch up because Demand 5 have blocked them. You have to ask the question how much does it cost to allow people to watch a single episode? £3.50 seems to be the going rate for a film so as an episode is half as long as a film £1.75 should be a good price. Why not charge that then Demand 5 and live up to your name?

    I just complained about the availabilty went away for a two week holiday only to find that episode 3 is not available, Thats stupid not allowing more time I expect a lot of poeple have had the same annoying problem. iplayer is usually a lot better, any series is usually available for a lot longer on the BBC. This was the first time I went to use Channel 5 player. Looks like I won't be watching any more of the Walking Dead on Channel 5 now Ive missed episode3 WILL BE THINKING TWICE BEFORE I WATCH ANOTHER SERIES ON CHANNEL 5 AGAIN !!!

    I don't accept Channel Five's arguments re: unavailabilty of this episode. If so, thier argument would apply to earlier episodes and yet they are still available to watch. This is plain cussedness on the part of C5. Just a complete spoiler. You are losing customers.

    I had the same experience as many others. The streaming was so slow that I only managed to watch the first few minutes before it went off line. Very disappointed.

    Got to agree with other complaints here. Streaming speed is absolutely agonizingly poor (almost completely frozen), so much so that I will have to miss this episode altogether (it's not available after the next 3 hours). Because of that, I'll have to miss the rest of the series. Very, very disappointed as I love this show.

    Taken me nearly 2 hours to watch 1 episode!! This is rubbish; I really want to watch this series but 5 are making this d..n near impossible. Many others are saying similar, why can't 5 get this sorted? Streaming is the pits to say the least, looks like me and many others are going to have to give this up as a BAD show to follow.

    ads are to much if they are thinking about people having a quick cup of tea during a break they shud just spare a thought and realize people can just pause and the loading time is to long they should just let people upload
