HOME RULE FOR ALL?
First up: home rule for all? Is it time to rewrite the way we're governed in this country and get, say, only English MPs to vote on English issues? David Cameron's promise to give Scotland more devolved powers has got not just the other home nations thinking self rule but our bigger cities too. it works in the USA, a country nearly 40 times bigger than us. Would it work here? Would you like to give it a try?

SOCIAL BACKGROUND CHECKS AT WORK?>

To increase social mobility, as employers would be forced to prove they don't just hire privileged public school types. City law firms already keep a record, maybe all firms should?

WALFORD'S NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW BEN!
Next up with Harry Reid tonight becoming the fifth actor to play EastEnders' killer Ben Mitchell, I want to know how you feel about soap characters endlessly changing faces as actors leave for pastures new? Would producers do better bringing in new characters instead?

MANTEL'S THATCHER MURDER MISERY
And finally: was top writer Dame Hilary Mantel out of order writing a short story called The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher in which the late Tory PM gets shot by IRA hitmen in 1983. Critics claim the short story is sick and cowardly, one even wants the police to investigate the writer's assassination fantasies - seriously - but she's entitled to write stories like this, isn't she?
