I grew up in childrens home from the age 9-16.....in the late 70s early 80s.I came from a very abusive home and found the care system was good for me.I think the comments that children in care dont well in life wrong. I did well at school and have never been in trouble, and now have a great child and im a good mother, I had more problems in the foster homes than the childrens homes.
