Soldiers getting preferential treatment may not sit well with everyone but what those in civvy street don't realize is that the move from armed forces is not an easy one. Many end up homeless and dont always know about the support that is out there . So any help they can get is welcomed. Also if there were a conflict would those who are unemployed volunteer to join up and help out ??

in our country we are lucky to have free will and freedom of choice, those in the armed forces made thier career choice therefore I don't feel there should be preferencial treatment regarding job interviews, housing etc.
