Parts 2 & 3: Do Circuses Need Animals?
That very question will be debated by MPs tomorrow. I thought we’d steal a march on them by discussing it today. Animals have been entertaining people for 100s if not 1000s of years but that ancient tradition may be about to come to end. The animal rights lot say its cruel to make wild tigers and elephants dance to the ringmaster’s whip. But with so few circuses featuring animals these days due to falling demand, is the issue even worth discussing in parliament?
We’ll hear what you have to say about that before we go to Aldo for the rest of the day’s headlines.

The mother of a 19-year-old Essex lad arrested for alleged computer hacking has told journalists how her son had spent the last four years leaving like a recluse in his bedroom, a slave to his PC. I know he’s not the only home-based hermit hooked on computing: do you worry about what your teenager’s doing upstairs? Are boys the chief problem or do girls hideaway upstairs too?

Then are you one of those won’t give money to the homeless? Do you walk past beggars without acknowledging them? Do you fret that if you give a pound they’ll only spend it on brown or crack or booze? Are you right to think that way? Or incredibly selfish?
Part 7: Do Fathers Need A Mumsnet?
Do fathers need an online internet forum like mumsnet, the dismal site frequented by foul-mouthed bullying harpies with too much time on their hands? One site for mums has as many as 25,000 posts a day. How many posts are there on a new site for fathers called Daddy be Good? I’ll tell ya: two and one of them’s a message from the founder. Proof fathers don’t need an online forum? That’s for you to decide.

I dont think it's just boys who spend hours online. I have a 13 year old daughter who spends at least 5 hours a day online on social network sites, talking to her friends and playing online games. i have tried to limit this but it seems that todays teenagers are socialising online instead of meeting up. It is hard to be a parent in todays society.

Why not stop the worst source of animal cruelty, factory farming, which the government not only allows it also subsidises directy and indirectly.

Men use other sites like ten site Avforums, which has general chat forums which includes many topics, such as raising kids, debts, feelings etc...etc...

Regarding the daddy website, I think it is a good idea, not only for the nuclear family father but for the accessing father. My partner trawelled the internet for advice and help when his former wife stopped him seeing his children when he started a relationship with me. She was the one that ended their relationship and quickly married her affair, however when my partner settled into a relationship with me she stopped him seeing his children. I feel that after a year of court, cafcass, CRB checks, assessments at homes, and interviewing the children, a year of heartache whilst the court at snails pace eventually secured regular access. My partner would have benefited from talking to fathers in the same position, or having similar histories...i'm sure there are many. My partner works in schools as a special educational needs teaching assistant so probably didn't need hands on practical advise but someone to share experiences with

I think that Margaret's 32 year old son is suffering from some form of underlying mental distress, most likely depression. The question to ask is why does this person spend so much time socially isolated etc. Margaret should seriously think about getting her son to see a mental health professional.

Simon Now I get it!!! Love it if this programme could be less obviously biased though as I love to hear other peoples point of view and have sometimes changed my view because of something I hadn't even thought of before.

Cathy, They hate the Daily Mail because it exposes the increasing islamification of this country, the scam that is global warming, and will generally take the common sense position on most subjects. Lefties hate common sense.

Can somebody tell me why Mathew and many members of the panel hate the Daily Mail so much? I have tried the Sun, Mirror, Independant, The people, The express, The Guardian, they all have things wrong with them they are all biased. Perhaps Mathew can tell us what papers we should be reading!!!!I think though we know he must be a GAURDIAN reader no bias there then.

The female panelist summed it up. Do-gooding lefties telling people how to live their lives, imposing their extreme animal rights and environmental agenda on us. No doubt the Tories will ban circuses just like LAbour banned everything else. THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT!

I think those of us who can afford to should give to the homeless, it doesn't matter to me if the person I give the money to spends it on drink or drugs, maybe they need their drink or drugs to get them through their day. Also we could always buy them a sandwhich so that they can get something to eat. But for the grace of God go I. Mo "Wigan
