To be in the army is a lot of discipline required. So for him to be deemed of good character is not good. He shows good character in all aspects

Re cash in hand/tax avoidance: MPs get public subsidised cheap drinks in the commons bars. Why don't they start by paying the full amount of tax on alcohol from their generous salaries !

Matthew, I didn't get a chance to watch Tuesdays show, so I don't know whether you broached the lighting of the Olympic cauldron again, Why can't it be a paralympian, my choice, Ellie Simmons.

Bale is married to my neice Kim. They have 2 lovely kids. Bale has left the army after 13 yrs' service to give them a better family life. It is so unfair that he is being treated like this. He served alongside Prince Harry so maybe Harry could have a word with his mum & ask her to do something to help one of her Commonwealth soldiers. Also, perhaps his mum could speak to the Royal British Legion. I understand that they wont give any support to Bale because he isn't a British citizen. That is just shameful.

LET BALE BALEIWAI STAY! As a Ex- Soldier of over 10 years service, I am ashamed that the way the Government and MPs have hidden from this and have not intervened and they should also make sure the Law is changed so this can never happen again to any Ex - Service personnel. Col Bob Stewart MP, my old commanding Officer now a Member Of Parliament, Sir, get a grip !
