Guest Jules Knight joins Anne Diamond and Steve Furst on the panel.
Part 1: Hellos & Menu
Parts 2 & 3: Your Olympic Half-Time Report
As the Olympic games reaches the half way point we’re going to kick off by hearing what you think of it so far. From the opening ceremony to the smooth running of the various events, it’s not looking bad, I reckon, but there are still too many empty seats. Some think too many of our medal winners are posh public school types and what if anything are the Olympics doing for our sense of national pride.
Whatever you want to say about the games this is the place to say it - and after hearing your thoughts we’ll go to John for the rest of today’s headlines.
Part 4: Today’s Papers
Part 5: Police Wrong To Withdraw Anti-Rape Ad?
After that: I want to know if you think police were right or wrong to withdraw an anti-rape poster that critics say blamed victims for what happened to them. The force responsible has since apologised but is it such a terrible thing to remind women to take care, to take some responsibility for what might happen to them on a big night out?
Part 6: Not Looking Your Age
For our last phone-in of the week we’re going to look at the pros and cons of not looking your age. Do those blessed with baby faces ever get tired of being asked to show ID? Isn’t it worse to have people assume you’re much older than your years?
Part 7: Talking Telly With Kevin O’sullivan
And finally: we're going to talk telly with a man who looks much, much younger than you’d think for a fella who celebrated his 73rd birthday a week ago, it’s Sunday Mirror critic Kevin O’Sullivan.
