We’ll kick off by getting your thoughts on next week’s strike by border guards. last night the Public and Commercial Services union confirmed their members would walk out on Thursday which some claim will be Heathrow’s busiest day ever. Only one in 10 members took part in the strike ballot over job cuts and pay. Are these border guards taking the michael or seizing the moment to get what they want?

After that I want to know if middle aged men are as invisible as women of certain age? Yesterday we heard how a lot of you girls feel you fade into insignificance after turning 40. Do middle age men fair any better? Women seem to put a lot of store in their sex appeal, men perhaps more so in their jobs. So if the work goes, does everything else follow? Has the age of equality done for the alpha male?

For our last phone-in of the week: we’re questioning the wisdom of splashing out on designer togs for kids. One, do the cost and delicate fabrics mean children can’t run about as they’re supposed to, and two by spending a fortune on such fripperies are you condeming your sprogs to spend the rest of their lives as slaves to fashion?
