Matthew

Sorry, this episode is no longer available to watch on Demand 5.

Find out why

Part 1: Hellos & Menu

Parts 2 & 3: Free Speech Victory For Internet Trolls
Firstly we’re going to discuss what appears to be a massive victory for those pathetic individuals who makes themselves feel good by posting vile messages about other people online. Our top prosecutor says those who post one off comments should be spared the full force of the law. A victory for free speech or a poke in the eye for decency - well, that’s for you to say so give us a call.

After some time on that it’s over to Di for the rest of today’s headlines

Part 4: Today’s Papers

Part 5: To Ban Page 3?
Before we move on and discuss the latest campaign to banish topless girls from page 3. Does page three normalise the sexual objectification of women? Isn’t there a whiff of hypocrisy from red top editors who slate the French for running topless pix of Kate Middleton when they exploit the dreams of wannabe glamour models every day?

Part 6: Not Busy, Just Disorganised
For our last phone-in of the week I want to know if busy people are actually disorganised people? The Sunday Times asks you to look at those who are always on the phone and or online. Are they doing anything useful? Are they really important perhaps or are they simply faffing about, playing at being busy?

Part 7: Talking Telly With Kevin O’sullivan
And finally: we're going to talk telly with Sunday Mirror critic Kevin O’Sullivan. What’ve you got for us this week?
REVIEWS: Island Hospital, Making Faces, The Choir
PREVIEWS: Baggage, The Paradise, Being Liverpool

Internet Trolls? Simple solution. They only go on site because they think they can remain anonymous. Therefore if they incite hatred & violence, Publish their names & Addresses!

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Left-wingers were in favour of the sexual revolution, and yet now they are trying to end glamour models' careers. Why do these people go looking for problems where there are none? If these idiots with chips on their shoulders are so frightened of the naked form and want to ban topless women, well, if they're going to be consistent, they must also want to ban topless men in all newspapers. I find people who are offended by female breasts rather odd. I'm willing to bet that the most vocal people on this are ugly and jealous 'wimmin'.

freedom of speech or public interest has been used far too many times to justify every wrong doing by media or people who just wana offend others, everyone seems to have forgoten that freedom of speech was the thing used by people like abu katada to insight hatered so its about time we learn that we do need to put guide lines what is freedom of speech and what is just some person trying to offend others, if someone is just using freedom of speech to offend people without having any point, he/she should be band from using the net.

Can't wait until Monday, when the Wright Stuff returns, from this weeks interupTurner show. Wonder if anyone of the panel excluding host Matthew, interrupts final panellists reading of the newspaper stories.
