With regard child benefit, if you pay your taxes your entitled to child benefit as its taken out of source and therefore when you have a child you are only getting back what you paid. If you don't pay taxes and have a child then you should not be entitled to child benefit. I wish that money that the government takes in taxes and Ni put into an account and used when individual situations require it to support them when out of a job or increase or an increase in family. Welfare agencies foreget that the money they deliver out is not government money but taxpayers money to use when the need is required.

This morning you ran a feature on Sherlock Holmes - there was some debate regarding the origins on the writer Arthur Conon Doyle - he was Scottish by birth, born in Edinburgh, both his parents were or Irish origin. He qualified as a doctor and lived in various places before finally settling in London.

Jeremy Brett was the best Holmes, its difficult to compare to the modern one because it is so different to all other versions, it being in the 21st century.

According to the Home Office's own figures, released under FOI,since 2004, 62 people have been extradited to USA fro m UK, of whom 28 were British citizens. In the same period, only 33 people have been extradited to the UK from USA, of whom only 3 were American citizens (or had dual nationality). Just saying.

The lack of balance and mocking tones of the fox hunting discussion on the show was very disappointing, but unfortunately utterly typical. One Parliament cannot tie the hands of another, so of course its perfectly reasonable to review a Ban that was driven by prejudice and the cliches much repeated on your show. Not least when Tony Blair himself has described it as the one thing he regrets most in his time of office. That the views of 30% of the electorate can be dismissed so trivially is frankly not fair. And finally, as an ordinary working joe who scrapes by, but lives for his horses and hunting I so resent the toff tag. There's a handful of society hunts, but most of us are very ordinary country people indeed.

If the child is fat I think its fair to assume they already have different sized portions to their thinner siblings...
