First up will ConDem plans to introduce more academic O level style exams at 16 lead to a big rise in young people failing their courses? Experts are convinced it will. But is that such a problem? What’s the point of having an exam like GCSEs that everyone passes when employers and universities need to sort the gifted from the rest? Unless of course it’s your child who fails.

After which I want to know if you think Kate Middleton’s naked pictures row is different from that of Prince Harry’s? Both sets of photos were taken in private, both arguably represent a gross invasion of their privacy. And yet Harry seemed to cop all the blame for his - and we had a good laugh at his expense. Kate, though, comes out as the victim - is that because she’s a woman and might one day be queen?

Moving on: Does fashion fail middle-aged women? Advertisers admit that 90 per cent of their campaigns are aimed at the twenty something, even though the over 50s have all the cash.
Part 7: Strictly Pro Contestants? Foxtrot Oscar!
And finally: Is it fair that some of this year’s strictly contestants, people like Denise van Outen, have danced professionally? Is it fair to pitch them against genuine amateurs like Richard Arnold? Or should producers have told them to foxtrot Oscar?

It was outraged to hear the woman guest on today's episode - 18 September commenting on the gay couple who were asked not to sleep together at a hotel because of their Christian beliefs - that if it was a 'Black couple' they wouldn't have turned them away! This issue is purely a 'Faith' one and nothing whatsoever to the colour of one's skin! Why is she bringing up "Black people" in relation to gay people? There are gay people in all 'colours' !! I'm sure the hotel owners would respond in the same way if the couple was "BLACK" She should look inward and think before she speaks - she never stops babbling and not giving anyone else a look in!

It's about time we dumped GCSEs and brought in something with a bit more substance. Every year the pass rate is going up, but literacy standards, are certainly not. Once upon a time, getting into university was a challenge, now, where "failure" is a dirty word, it's almost guaranteed. When are we going to wake up to the fact that education is truely important, and whilever we shy away from this, all we are doing is letting down each new generation.
