"Don't be told what you want/Don't be told what you need" is the main message of GOD SAVE THE QUEEN,for the benefit of all you Radio 2 listeners. That station has played it though, concluding SLASH'S GUITAR HEROES(12/10).Q Magazine rated it the most exciting song ever.It has been covered by Motorhead, but imo Poison's INSTRUMENTAL version is better(check it out on we7.How's that for "tuneless"?)I suspect P.Wilson's idea of 'real music' is DIRE STRAITS/ELO/CLIFF.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN is a vile, disgusting record that is disrespectful to the queen. It should be banned forever. It is not even a good song. It just an angry thug shouting tuneless, mindless rot into a microphone. Anyone who likes this nonsense should hang their heads in shame. Britain has a wonderful history of great music and great singers and bands. So why this? Anyone who is a genuine, REAL music lover would not give this attrosity the time of day. MP's, the royals, the royal household, the Olympic committee and real music lovers should do everything they can to make sure this awful dross is not heard at the Olympic games.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN(original title:NO FUTURE)was more of an attack on conformity than on HMQ.In 2009,the office football bore remarked the Sex Pistols couldn't be that famous ,or he'd have heard of them!!The only Sid Vicious he knew of was some meathead wrestler!!Though 30,he often displayed the conduct of a child,as well as the rank ignorance.(If I were still there,I'd have dubbed the bumpkin Baby Peter. He never heard of Viz or Radio 4 either;the price of relying on redtops for information and believing the world revolves around the Premier League,I suppose.)

Our MP's that we voted in change things for us when they want and don't listen to us the people if we don't like it. Now they signed up to the European Union without asking us but now they don't like it when the European Union says we must do something. You can't just pick and choose the bits you want and don't want, the boots now on the other foot.
