First up: Is time to arm every police officer in the country? That’s what people asking after the brutal and cold-blooded murder of two policewomen yesterday. And yet both Manchester’s chief constable and members of the Police Federation have said they don’t want British coppers to go down that route. Would arming the police affect their relationship with you? Would it lead to even more cops being killed?

sadly they are a persecuted animal along with foxes down your way up here its dear they kill ...spose its the first answer to everything instead of looking for alternatives its in our nature..why not ship them to australia only jokin but there must be an alternative why not have an overflow badger and fox farm to control numbers...ie controll and neuter them. can that be done?

Cyclist undertaking, against the law of the road, paying with your life, although harsh is the cyclists fault. I have always said, before anyone can get a car licence, they first must have ridden a motorcycle/scooter for a 6 month period. This will Instill a greater awareness of vulnerability towards other rad users.

The police do a fantastic job under great presure, arming them all will not change a thing. Tougher sentencing and the death sentence should be given to reflect the severity of the crimes. And Lowry may not full under stand the war in Afghanistan or in other countries, Please donot belittle the efforts of theose who privide the freedom she lives in and great cost to themselfs.
