And yet both Manchester’s chief constable and members of the Police Federation have said they don’t want British coppers to go down that route. Why when scientists can’t agree if a cull would work. Animal charities believe vaccination is the key. Could farmers do more to reduce their herds’ exposure to the bacteria?
