Heartbreak for Fulham and defeat for Stoke in Istanbul.

Europa League round up: Matchday 6

Fulham 2 - 1 OB

Besiktas 3 -1 Stoke City

Fulham were set for the UEFA Europa League round of 32 when Djiby Fall's last-gasp header for already eliminated Odense BK ended the 2010 finalists' campaign in agonising fashion.

Teenager Kerim Frei had made one for Clint Dempsey before scoring his first senior goal to put Fulham in control at the break. But Hans Henrik Andreasen pulled one back midway through the second half and Fall's leveller allowed Wisła Kraków to snatch Group K second place with a 2-1 defeat of Twente.

Besiktas progressed to the last 32 as UEFA Europa League Group E winners after a 3-1 victory against already qualified Stoke City in Istanbul.

The hosts required just a point to join their opponents in the knockout stage but fell behind when Ricardo Fuller fired Stoke in front after 29 minutes. However, Carlos Carvalhal's charges overhauled Stoke at the top of the group after the break as Matthew Upson was sent off for conceding a penalty that Manuel Fernandes converted before Mustafa Pektemek headed in and Edu added a third on 82 minutes.
