What a brilliant and interesting series. Its a shame it was only two episodes. 2 years condensened into 2 hours. Im sure there was so much exciting and interesting stuff to show that a series of 4 episodes would have surely given the journey the coverage it deserves.

Just shows what we value in today's society. This was probably as great an achievement as man going into space, up mt Everest, however no real hype. Instead we watch geordie shore, soaps, eat or lardy crapy food etc, moan about not having enough, when we do indeed have the world, but choose not to live in harmany with it. I for one am humbled by your efforts. A true inspiration my friend.

Amazing, absolutely amazing. So, so, so inspiring. I really want to know what happened to Cho after the adventure finished though as he didn't really come from anywhere like Ed did. Anyone know what happened to him?

great great show, however it is a fix. When they come across the 'miracle lake' he has a tooth missing, then later its in, then the next day its out. Also his beard isnt as long yet its meant to be the same day... hmmmm

What an unbelievable feat of human endurance. Ed Stafford, you are a truly inspiring man, congratulations on your achievement I hope you continue to follow your dreams and I look forward to sharing your adventures in the future. Amazing!

MISSING TOOTH...He must have a tooth brace, you place it in your mouth and it sucks to the roof of your mouth...basically a fake tooth. He obviously didn't feel the need to wear it when in the middle of the Amazon! As with the beard changing..there are over 650 days of filming condensed into 2 hours...I think during that time his beard will have grown and been shaved many a time...

Awesome show, great feat! What a man, pure dedication although I really thought there was a lot missing and as Mark mentions this could have surely been a longer series, or maybe atleast one 40 or 1 hour long mish mash of clips thats didnt quite make the cut with Ed talking about it, a documentary as such. Even showing how and if he communicated with his family, more importantly what the ate and a bit more focus on the wildlife...Surely he captured more of that, I know I would have! Fantastic show though and great achievement!

Convenient how the series is so short and how he is joined by other half arsed companion and how we as the viewer don't get the full story as the series is so short i feel altogether that this is a bit of a gimic as the recognition he should truely get is not recieved due to the full stroy not being showed. booyaa

thought it disappointing that Joe who did the whole journey with him wasn't given an honorary fellowship with Royal Geographical Society - as always its the white boy who gets the glory

Wow i can't believe this was squeezed into two episodes, it was awsome. Was it due to lack of footage ? Ed found his true partner on his journey and i hope Ed got him a plain ticket and gave him a good holiday in the uk. @ lyndsay joy i hope Ed makes everyone fully aware of cho's everts and that does show in the series, but come on playing the racist card get a grip.

That was amazing! @Mike I agree with everything you said...well done Ed....well done Joe!!

How come the white guy gets all the glory and the brown guy gets none at all? The white guy couldn't have done it without his help. Such arrogance spoils the story.

Well done Ed and Cho. I am delighted that you walked from the coast of Peru to the coast of Brazil along the mighty river. I travelled to Colombia by plane this year and that was my top adventure.

proud to be british!! This feat encapsulates the power of mind, body and spirit to achieve a goal. This man is my idol, soo inspirational. And Cho seems to be the best friend ever, like frodo in lord of the rings. It put's into perspective how easy we have life, how easy it is to take advantage of life!! A real triumph!

Awesome achievement of contemporary times , better than TV survival adventures, .....cheers to Ed and his companion. This calls for a reflect on Victorian pioneers, like Livingston, Stanley & Mongo Park......what was it like then...imagine ?????
