Whitney's talent had a huge impact around the world to no one surprise. She is human like everyone else and she could only handle what she can. Nobody is perfect. We will forever love her and miss her dearly. RIP Nippy.

amazing talent Whitney Houston had, she will be sadly missed by millions of her fans including me but especially her family and daughter Bobby Kristina... I had the strangest dream the other night though, just days after she passed she came to me in a dream and she just said to me I'm sorry I had to go, she was so tired and the only way she could rest is to go see Jesus and to tell her family and friends that she was truly sorry she had to go the way she did. although i never knew Whitney personally but i feel blessed she came to visit me in a dream R.I.P now Whitney you will be forever missed xxx

Why does everybody seem to think Bobby Brown was her downfall? Whitney a closet wild girl/woman. Whitney had the image control that was afforded to the Hollywood stars of the golder era. All Bobby Brown was, Whitney's smokescreen, given her licence to freely indulge in her bad habits

Why is the world blaming Bobby Brown for Whitney Houston's downfall? It's clear to me that Houston was a natural wild woman/girl. Houston was subject to the same image control by her mother/ record company afforded to the hollwood actors of the golden era. Bobby was a smokescreen which gave Whitney free rein to continue her wild ways while deflecting the real root cause of her destructive ways; herself. Think about we never got to knew the real Whitney Houston. God help the daughter, amen!

Whitney touched the lives and SOULS of so many around the WORLD, her voice certainly got me through many hard times in life. She gave all of us a gift through her music. Watching her funeral was very emotional and moving. Yes, everyone makes mistakes but I feel that Whitney's addictions: Death of a diva could have been handled more tastefully only days after she has been laid to rest, disappointing. RIP Whitney thank you for the gift that you gave to me.

Thank you for showing this truthful, understanding angle as to why Whitney succombs to these pressures. She was not a robot but a human being but was treated like one for our entertainment without her true feelings, aspirations being considred and obviously was not being emotionally nurtured throughout the process/rise of the glare of the spotlight. I do not know what it will take for the music indutry t be monitored in how they take care of their artistes. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY EXECS STRATEGIES NEED TO BE STUTINISED, GOVERNED AND MONITORED JUST LIKE ANY CORPORATION! We must take care and stand up for the artistes who are effectively trying to enterain and please us. So so many have died, Elvis, Amy, Michael and so many more succomb to drugs to due these increasing pressures of stardom. There needs to be more accountability and I am so glad your show's psychological experts homed in on that. The eulogy at the beginning of your show is exactly what I was have liked to see/hear at her funeral, so people could understand where she came from and her journey. They forgot to do a concise one! Thank you again for your amazing efforts and I'm about to watch again for the 3rd time.

Mary g blige was on the drugs and got off it , thats what alot of her music was about , its all about the individual and i believe it was all down to herself , sorry whitney ripxxx

What I got from seeing this was that, she had this most likely oppressive childhood--ie., Christian, which is anti-gay. So she was attracted to another woman and that is not accepted. That is a HUGE pressure and abuse. Even though the Christian dogma is oppressive, Gospel singing expression is not, but this was suppressed by the corp image-makers ALSO, and they too would not want Whiteney to spoil their fasle image of her by being a lesbian or bisexual. And with all that she is in that industry, and the temptation of drugs and lots of money, and then she meets Bobbly Brown who also is into drugs, and.....etc Wonder if these kids who wanna=be-famus got any idea..? dont-think-so!

I agree with dellbut that her biggest mistake is marrying Bobby Brown. He sucked the life out of her with his jealousy and emotional abuse. That is more damaging than drugs. How could anybody survive living with someone who suppose to be the closest person in his life turn out to be the enemy within for 14 years. This is tough and yet she is covering for him by dimming her own God given light. Poor Nip she doesn't deserve this. Still not sinking still feel strange a world that without WH. If as they say 2012 the world is ending. I would say let it be, Whitney is not with us anyway what have we got to loose! Massive fan of WH from Saving all my love for you to Jesus love me with Kelly Price the last song she sang. God bless your soul Whitney and give you eternal peace with the same amount you brought joy and love to the world

I am such a huge fan of Whitney's. To me, she was an idol; an inspiration; someone I looked upto and whose music really brought joy into my life. Her album was the first I ever brought. I understand first hand what she went through. I went through it on a much smaller scale. I had the opportunity to be part of a reality TV show a few years back. I will not mention the name of the show, but it's a very popular singing show on ITV... however I do not wish to divulge who I really am. The pressure is so immense. people telling you how to act, what to do, what to say. you are trapped in a bubble that seperates you from the world. Then you hear all the negativity. people saying you aren't good enough, people slating you in papers, in internet chat rooms. And the worst thing is, as soon as you are voted out of the show... you are dropped like a ton of bricks with no support at all. The music industry is full of money grabbing people such, not mentioing any names, who want to make as much money off your back and don't care about you as a person. So my word of warning is... fame is not what its all cracked up to be. sometimes you have to sell your soul, and its not easy. people turn on you, alleged friends treat you differently, enemies come out of the woodworks and your whole life is thrown head over heels.... and what do you turn to? things that comfort you, food, drugs, alcohol, self harm... different things for different people.... in a way you become a ticking time bomb. it's evident by looking at Michael Jackson... Amy Winehouse... etc. So Whitney... Rest in peace... you will be missed and are singing with the angels.... and to the public.... don't be too quick to judge people and don't believe everything you read in the tabloids! End of Rant Thanx :) lotsa love 'J'

I have not watched the episode yet, as I did not want to absorb any negative things about Whitney, I wanted to see a celebration of her life and what she has given the world! Her funeral was amazing to me and others and so summed who the true Whitney was. Every girl singer fashioned themselves off her, and still could not reach her excellent vocals. After reading the comments posted, I am now interested to look at this docu with an open mind and will come back to comment on my intrepretation of it. In Saturday's Mirror there was an article from one of the Chauffeurs who sold his soul for a quick buck - how disrespectful! I did not buy the paper for such sensational news and did not bother to read the article at all. RIP Whitney

I feel very sorry whitney is dead but let us not forget she made those decisions in her life. The person I feel really sorry for is the daughter she has left behind. She is the one that will grow up and have to live with her mothers whole life out there for everyone to pull apart and surmise what really happened when one will ever really know. So I say god bless to her and sorry for your loss. I pray to god that there are people who are looking out for you.

tij911. Let us assume the blame is to be put on what around her when she was 19. Let us say she used drugs since that time. There were underlining issues cause people to take drugs and nothing happens in a vacuum. Booby is one of the major issues that caused her to continue to take drugs and if she was happy with him in the 14 years she was with him at least she could have cleaned up and steadied her path. You can get cleaned up from the drugs but the emotional pain is far more lasting and destroying and the main reason that cause people to take drugs. He could have been part of the solution but unfortunately he added salt to her wounds. She continuously trying to lift him up and he continuously bringing her down. Watch YouTube and see the reality show they have done and her interview with Oprah and you can see clearly his attitude towards her. The only one positive thing Whitney got out of Bobby that people can see clearly is Bobbie Kristina nothing else. She was putting up with the facade all these years.

i got it so wrong, all these years i thought that whitney wasa sweet could do no wrong girl and bad boy bobby bown came along and got her into drugs, the turth is whitney was an addict before brown and she was drawn to him because he was also a drug user, together they were explosive, its very sad that her great voice started to fail her, but years of drug abuse will do that. She abused he talent and her body . Its sad she past so young but her drug habbit just caight up with her.

Such beauty, talent and the riches that came with it didn't bring her happiness. She left the world too soon! Her beautiful daughter motherless. It's a pity that the lady didn't get the help she really needed. What a price to pay for fame. To all those fame seekers out there, all that glitter isn't always gold. No good blaming her ex-husband Bobby Brown; having watched the programme about her life documenting the rise and fall of this talented woman, it appears that Whitney became a commodity and her humanity was left behind. Her friend became substances she used for comfort. RIP Whitney Elizabeth Houston and I hope where ever you are you find peace.

Based upon what I have been reading lately... I have seen many different reactions to Whitney's untimely death, most noticeably about honoring our troops or poor starving children in other countries instead of paying homage to a drug addicted millionaire (as it was put). I thought about that pondered it, personally let us start with the basics and this is not a defense of or a prosecution of but more where I was coming from when learning of Whitney's untimely demise.... It scared the cr*p out out of me. I am not sure of your choice in music or if you even like Whitney Houston's music at all but to me (my personal heartfelt feeling) Whitney's music made my spirit want to soar to the heavens because that is exactly where her voice seemed to generate from one of the Angelic choir. I appreciate anyone or anything that can make me feel that good no matter the method or the source, I truly appreciate it which beings me to the next point; if something seems so divinely inspired (again my opinion) as to cause my spirit to soar and has been so recklessly destroyed by drug and alcohol use it really and I mean really brings me in touch with my own mortality, my own weakness, and the very insidious power that addiction can wreak, it brought it closer to my reality that I may too die from it if again ensnared in it's treacherous grasp. From this point in my fear I then knew where Whitney was in her addiction, in a dark place of a world getting smaller and smaller when death seemed to be the only way of getting any kind of relief, I have been there in my life I KNOW this feeling and THAT scares the cr*p out of me. Whitney was a human being just like you and I, if anyone uses her wealth to separate themselves from acknowledging this then perhaps they do not really understand the disease of addiction or humanity for that matter. She was frail, made the ultimate mistake (death) and very much human, in that I think the millions of people across the planet were not only grieving her loss but that part of ourselves that WE lost, for she represented a gift, a present that we all have inside a flame of divinity in each of us that perhaps we let go or did not use to full potential, she represented the best of where we can go and the worst of what can happen to us if we go the wrong way up that one way street. I am a thirteen year veteran of the US Army and a war veteran of Operation Dessert shield (storm) Iraq. I also am very much grieved at the plight of not only starving children, homelessness, displaced people, war, disease, and all the other catastrophes we wreak on upon one another... I also see the value in many things and other people no matter their economic standing of lack thereof, Yes I DO grieve when I see the pinnacle of human achievement and beauty destroyed as we watch these things daily in the news, but when it touches feeling the way Whitney through her music touched my heart then I like millions of people have the RIGHT to grieve her loss without someone attempting to lay a guilt trip on me or others for the way we feel. We have a RIGHT to feel our feelings and if it seems misplaced or unjust just try think of the BIG picture and not just what is filtered through prejudice or resentments no matter the source. R.I.P Whitney Houston Stan A Angel

im not a fan of this artist at all but another sad musical drug addict glammed up upon death and the even more ironic thing is she will now sell more music upon her demise and make the record boss's more money and they will will still sit and watch there current artists do the same as this girl i refuse to buy music to fund the high lifes of the record boss

Regardless of the troubled life she may have had, it should not be what defines her. She was a beloved daughter, mother, friend to someone and they all have to come to terms with her loss. So whilst I dont think for one minute that her death was any more or less important than those losing their lives to famine or as a result of war, my condolances go out to her family and friends who will miss her the most.

Whitney, to me, was THE VOICE of my generation. When I saw those last pictures of her, I shook my head in despair and told myself that she did not have long on the earth. Low and behold, a couple of days later she was dead. Although this documentary looked at Whitney's life, I want to just remember her and her immense talent. I feel that her 2009 comeback was too soon. But the hungry vultures were after her. They didn't see her, they were looking at the economic benefits of Whitney. Sadly, she didn't deliver in her concerts. May Whitney rest in paradise. I am sure she is at peace now, more than she was on this earth. My prayers go out to her family and especially Bobbi Kristina.

Its a measure of the world today and the values of society. Whitney Houston was a diva and like many of her counterparts not a very nice one. Her selfishness robbed a child of her mother. She chose to take drugs, whilst having the means and the money not to do so. So is the music industry to blame? She was a addicted to being a 'star' as well as drugs. She had everything going for her, how many of us struggle just to earn a crust and live some sort of reasonable life. She didn't have to struggle to make ends meet, so do not feel sorry for her, she wasted a gift. Pity the ones she left behind who are trying find a reason for what she did. Especially her daughter.
