Featuring intense moments of aviation drama captured on camera, this episode offers unprecedented views from the ground and inside the plane from some of the most terrifying plane journeys.
Scenes include an amazing no-landing-gear touchdown at Warsaw airport in 2011 and an airliner exploding in a massive fireball at Okinawa, Japan. Testimony from experts, eyewitnesses and survivors provide added insight to what happened and what went wrong.
We also examine the hijacking and water-landing of Ethiopian Airlines flight 961, which informed Captain Sullenberger’s emergency landing on New York’s Hudson River in 2009. And it is not just planes, a scenic balloon flight has a brush with disaster for holidaying Brits in Luxor, Egypt, and an experienced aerobatic helicopter pilot escapes death by the skin of his teeth.

Two minute long ads EVERY TWO MINUTES!! Had to update my adblocker to even watch this. I would've happily have watched the ads on the marked breaks, but got fed up after 8 ad breaks in under 15 mins. especially as it was the same 4 ads.

Seriously, do you not make enough on advertising when you first broadcast these shows? 2mins 30 secs of adverts before it starts and then at every possible place to put them throughout too... Sort it out!!!

Why is it that the program itself will freeze and cut in the middle all the time, but the ads will work perfectly and and will always be shown regardless of the fact that they've been seen few time earlier. why not just change to name of the program to, "All the ads in the worlds: again and again and again"!

Absolutely useless, this will be the last time I use Channel 5 on demand. I've only managed to watch 8 minutes, video just keeps freezing. Channel 5 fix this now, or risk loosing even more viewers.

45 min later....still only seen 8 min! This is the first time i've used Channel 5 on demand - I wish I had recorded it. It plays for 20 seconds then you have at least a 5 min break, at least put in some adverts rather than just freezing the picture!
