What a fantastic final! So proud to have the two Brits at 3rd & 4th place almost all the way through. Great to have the competition back on terrestrial TV, and in the classic festive slot too. Agree with Paula though, less James Richardson and his cheesy intros please. More time on the action, or have Kaz introduce events. He's great at it. Bravo 5!

Wow amazing final, best I have seen in 5 years. The final should have been 90 minutes so we could have seen the full glory of the stong men. Well done for channel five showing the event, keep it up every year

Great Series. Zyrunas will always be the greatest strongman, although i do miss Pudzianowski (i know he cheated) but such an entertaining strongman

Less James Richardson and more action please. Considering WSM took place in Sept this was more of a highlight series with too much "this is what's happened so far" and at least 2 events where we didn't get to see the winning reps. If this was football it would have been given a longer slot

Agree with the small amount of coverage.. 415kg not being shown is a bit ridiculous.

You need a longer TV slot! And show more of the deadlifts! Poundstone pulled 415 kg and this wasn't even shown?!

Thank you Channel 5 for covering this great sporting contest. I think it can only be improved if the episode length was extended, similar to the views already expressed. Great work guys.

Brilliant coverage of a brilliant competition! WSM has been a highlight of the festive period for me for many years so its great to see Channel 5 supporting it and doing it justice. The only improvement I can see is to have a longer final episode and show a broader range of competitors' efforts in greater depth. Other than this, great work!

Great stuff, but bit disappointed we didn't get to see Lalas AT ALL, and barely saw Poundstone. Why not do these amazing guys justice and perhaps split the final into two episodes? I think that has been done in the past? Or have the final 1:30 hr instead?
