Helping the homeless with Linkey

/ 8 March 2018

Founded in December 2017 by siblings Josh Adley and Natasha Langleben, Linkey is a social enterprise set up to bring together those who care, with those who need.

Josh and Rebecca, along with an army of friends and family, loaded up their cars and visited the homeless on the streets and in shelters in central London to deliver the goods.

Seeing how many people this simple act of kindness fired up their community, they decided to develop this one-off idea into a sustainable social enterprise. They setup an Amazon Wish List of all the essential items that shelters and rough sleepers were desperately in need of and used social media and word of mouth to encourage people to make a purchase.

In its first two months, Linkey received £20,000 worth of items, in addition to over 1,500 physically donated items.
