Poor Biscuit the terrier cross was found by the RSPCA cowering and lying next to her dead siblings in a wooden kennel that had been dumped on a country lane in Runcorn.

Fanta was found by the Scottish SPCA extremely frightened in Kirkcaldy with severe burns to his face and body. The one-year-old ginger and white tom cat was discovered by a member of the public who thankfully called the team.

Within hours of Rocky the labrador puppy arriving at his new home he was flat, floppy and very ill. Caught unprepared for a very sick pet, his owners rushed him to Blue Cross‘s Victoria animal hospital.

Dora was found by The Donkey Sanctuary alone and collapsed on the floor of a cattle truck, emaciated, dehydrated and in extreme distress. She’d been covered with a dirty blanket — an attempt to hide her from the world.

A young Little Owl was left flightless in a suspected traffic collision. Just a few months old, the injured bird was discovered by the Wildlife Aid Foundation flapping around on the ground.
